My friends and I visited on a Monday afternoon just in time for happy hour! We were seated immediately and the server was really kind and took our orders quickly. We ordered soft shell crab, calamari, and edamame for appetizers (half off for happy hour!) For the rolls, there was a 3 long rolls for $33 happy hour deal - we ordered Skywalker, Rainbow, Phoenix, TIS the salmon, Thrill, and Magnificent. All of the rolls were delicious and we ended up ordering three more after our initial order. It did take a little bit for the rolls to come out after the appetizers. Overall we were very satisfied and would definitely come back again!

We were impressed with the excellent service by both the hostess and our server, Alora.We ordered the veggie tempura and Gyoza as appetizers because it was Happy Hour and both were very good. The three long rolls (Rock n Roll, Mt. Rainier, and Release the Kraken) we ordered for dinner were all very good and hard to stop eating!!! I ordered the steak teriyaki and it came with a cucumber salad and edamame. Everything was delicious and fulfilling.

Craving some sushi while at southcenter mall so I stopped at Trappers for take out. The restaurant itself was not busy but service was slow. As I waited for my to-go order I seen the host ask dine in guests to wait in the lobby to be seated "about ten mins" which is the same amount of time I was told for my order to be ready and it took at least 25 minutes. Tables were already bussed so the only thing I could see was them notifying the server that there was a new table to serve in their area. I got the trappers roll, some scallops were overcooked but you can't really mess up fried shrimp rolled into rice so my sushi was good.There is a 2% service fee added to your bill that seems sneaky and the service evening dining out was not great nor worth the price imo.

Dominick was our server tonight, Keegan and Thomas were our chefs. Julie came around and checked on us to make sure everything was going well. We really enjoyed the team here. We came in for dinner and are leaving full and satisfied. The sushi rolls were delicious and came out quickly. The price isn't bad considering the AYCE value. The fish was fresh tasting, the cooked items were done well and the Heineken bottles were nice and cold. The restaurant had the M's game on which made for a perfect weekday dinner with entertainment. This location is very clean and bright. The energy is positive and contagious.
