The server was very attentive. He refilled drinks and answered all questions. At first, it was noisy but got quieter as people left. We only had about a 10 minute wait for a table. The soups were full of flavor, but I thought the chowder could have been hotter. The elk burger was juicy, which can be difficult with a very lean meat. This is a small place with good food.

I absolutely love this place. When hubby and I are without our kids, this is where I want to go eat. Still haven't tried their famous maple bacon Bloody Mary yet, but its on my list to must try. Food is pricey with entrees priced $17+ and apps priced $12+, but the portions are good sizes to even split if you want. The dining area is cozy and fun, but when I am out without my kids, I will opt to sit at the bar every time. It's just nice to people watch and even talk to strangers sitting near you at the bar. Plus, you can easdrop on conversations between the customers and the bartenders. It is a 21+ bar/restaurant, so leave the kids at home. Street parking is easy to find.

Service was wonderful! Food was good. Ordered the crab cakes with greens - good flavor but had carrots in there. Weird, even for crab cakes with dungies, imho...I do recognize I'm from originally from Baltimore tho, so blue crabs and Old Bay are in my heart. Friend got a breakfast dish with eggs...she said it was good. Popped in to use the restroom later in the day and didn't get weird vibes. Seems like a good, welcoming, warm spot. Will def return!

Stopped at Train Wreck to get some food to go, although I'd like to go back for the decor itself. It's also only a few feet away from the train tracks so the building will shake. They have their own glasses with railroad crossing signs - ordered an old fashioned while waiting. For a train buff this is a great place to try. I ordered the Train Wreck Burger, which was good but I was really impressed with the sweet potato fries. Done right and not soggy like some I've had in the past.
