Some of the best tasting food in America. I don't understand any of the negative reviews. This place has been a fave for over a decade. Great staff, incredible food, and joyful souls once the meal ends. Seriously incredible place.

March 9, 2024Came with a group of friends to celebrate one of our friend's birthday. Service was great, love the chef and his humor, and food was excellent as always. Love their sushi rolls! I ordered the cowboy roll and this is how we roll......10/10 recommend!

Good hibachi presentation and richly flavored food. The ginger dressing on the salad was a highlight for me. I started with a margarita on the rocks which was average. The teriyaki filet mignon was cooked perfectly and the rice and veggies seasoned well. The yumyum sauce could use a bit more kick, but overall, the food hit the spot.

Food is bland. The shrimp taste funny. The rice is very bland and only has egg. The salmon is fishy. The service was very good. Our cook was hilarious. The ambiance is basic hibachi vibes. The hot sake is good.

I can't talk enough about this place. This is my family's go to sushi and hibachi place. The ambiance is exactly what you expect from a hibachi restaurant. Our server Will is the absolute best!! We are considered " regulars " but he still always remember's our food and drink orders! The roll's never disappoint. everything is always wonderful and that's why we continue to always go back!!

Honestly this may be my favorite Japanese steakhouse I've ever been to. We went on a Friday night at prime time (7pm), were seated immediately with one other couple, and were served instantaneously. Even though all the seats weren't full, the chef started the show very quickly upon us sitting. The interior was more casual than the typical chain Japanese steakhouses I think of which I found to be inviting/less of an event. The floor is SLICK here though so be careful. If you choose to eat at the hibachi table, I highly recommend the filet and chicken! It was SO much food and all of it was incredible. The rice was perfectly cooked, and he also got the right cook on the steak. I was able to get 3 meals out of this! The salad and soup were fairly standard but did not disappoint. What I am most impressed by was actually the sushi! We got the fire mountain roll and it was on par with some of the nicer sushi restaurants in downtown Nashville. If you like spicy sushi, this is a must try.A great experience overall and such a nice part of the Nippers Corner community.

Sushi was good however, my shrimp fried rice was burned as you can see in the photo below. I ordered to go and didn't know check my food prior to leaving. Hopefully this was an isolated incident however it was a bad first impression!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. As soon as I walked in, before my group of friends and I sat down, there was an earwig/roach crawling across the table under our plates and made its way under the grill.

Food is always great . No wait which was good . Went with the grandkids . Chef put on a great show for the kids . Would definitely go back again.
