Food: Great bar food, reasonably priced. Specialty drinks very fun. Service: Friendly, not intrusive, fast.Ambiance: A+, really cool MedSpa: Tania is SUPER TERRIFIC! Will be back!!!

A friend and I stopped in Tox Bar to watch a basketball game and get a bite & brew. It's a nice place and everything is new, but I think they may have trouble long term because of the location is hard to find (next to the Carefree Post Office- there were only 2 other patrons most of the time we were there). I had their single burger, which was quite generous in size and it was cooked very well. They really slathered on the thousand island sauce though and I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The steak fries were very solid too. I had a very nice amber ale to go with my burger. No complaints about the food or drink. Our waitperson was very cheerful and efficient and wasn't intrusive. Hats off to her. The only thing I didn't care for was the overly loud music. They had turned up the volume on the TV so we could hear as well as see the game, but then shortly after they cranked up the music really loud even though there were only two patrons in the bar and the two of us in the dining room. Couldn't hear the game the rest of the night.

When I say it's a cozy place I mean that in a very good way. You walk in and are instantly greeted and feel welcomed. A great staff that's super friendly (taught one how to 2-step last night) and they made us feel like we had been coming there forever. Great selection of drinks and food. Can't wait to come back again very soon!

Ok... so Bf and I have been sitting outside on the patio with our dog and have straight-up been forgotten. There are no misters in AZ over the summer, and we have a dog with us. Our waitress only stopped by at around 7:15PM to get our drink orders -- we ordered a whiskey flight, and we were dropped off that flight and never checked up on again for another hour. She offered to bring our dog water, that never happened. BF finished his water over an hour ago and my ice has melted. we hoped to order more drinks but we never received any service. I feel like the closed off outdoor environment contributes to the lack of service. If the restaurant did more to incorporate indoor/outdoor facilities it would be better. It was odd that this restaurant/bar has apparently been around for 2 years and yet there is no yelp page, I had to create it. I don't give reviews but this wasn't good. We are sweating and paying customers and it's seems as though they simply don't care. we could walk out without paying our check and nobody would have known for over an hour. They have checked on the people who arrived after us approx 2xs and have forgotten about us. Y'all need to step up. Employees seem nice, but it seems like there is zero organization. Is management even here?. it's a cute location with potential, but we won't be returning. I am putting 2 because towards closing, our (second?) waitress checked up on us and she was very sweet.

Staff, service and food rocks! Love the location and space is very cool to just hang and chill.

The speedy burger is great! We have had the chicken fingers as well. The servers are friendly and attentive. We were able to shoot a little pool and watch a few games while we waited on our food. If you aren't a fan of the typical Cave Creek/ Carefree bars, this might be a new place to visit.

Great new addition to Carefree. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff and outstanding burgers. And the best deal on happy hour beverages anywhere around. Definitely going to be a regular stop for us and our friends.

If you're on the hunt for a spot that combines mouthwatering chicken tenders, loaded nachos, and a side of fun, look no further than The tox or speedy burger tavern (now combined).Their chicken tenders are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and served with a variety of dipping sauces that'll leave your taste buds dancing. And the nachos? They're piled high with cheese, jalapenos, salsa, and all the fixings you crave. But what really sets this place apart is the ambiance at the restaurant. Their is a array of games available. From classic arcade games to board games, there's something to entertain everyone while you munch on your delicious meal. Our waiter was amazing very sweet and kind and our service on our food was splendid.

This review is for Speedy Burger. Best burger I've had in a very long time! The burgers came out hot and fresh. The beer was good and cold. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the server behind the bar forgot to give my husband onion rings instead of french fries. He made a comment to her and she apologized and said it was on her. then she still charged us $7 for onion rings. I made a mention of it, and she said that it was her fault for forgetting, but she wasn't giving us the onion rings at no cost. We didn't really care about the money, but it was kind of the principal. But regardless, we are definitely going back. We came there for the food and will go back there for the food.

Not quite sure why there are so many 5 star reviews. Unless it is all family and friends. You walk in and and it looks like a small catering hall with no decor. My wife and I decided to try. We had 2 apps, the meatballs were dense and cold on the inside, the bruchetta was ok. Had 3 vodkas, which were 1oz pour, so we had to order doubles. The liquor they charged $26 for 2oz..a handle of Kettle at Costco is $23 on sale. Ask told, our 2 apps and drinks cost $240 with tip. There is nothing there to get excited about, and with so many good restaurants in this area...I will never be back. This place get no recommendation from me.
