I love carbs specifically croissants! The croissants here are good but OMG the Chocolate Cake!!! That's all you need to know and that will be my birthday this year!Parking: Shared small retail lot Pet friendly: NoFamily friendly: YesFOOD:1. Croissants $4.85: 4 Star - This was a last minute decision 30 mins before they closed as we actually planned to for an early dinner at the café a couple of doors down. They had some croissants left and they were a little smaller than I like for the price but very taste. Light layers of butter goodness. MMMMMMM!2. Pain Au Chocolat: $4.90: 4 Star - "Plain" croissants are always my go-to but the chocolate croissants were so big and inviting so it was like a why not. This was really good but I'm always going to take savory over sweet. HA! Yea and next it's the chocolate cake.3. Chocolate cake: This was the last chocolate cake and I felt bad for it so I added it to my bag as a last minute whim. I am so glad I did!! This was unexpectedly good as it just look like a simple cake, so innocent and unadorn but this is almost as good as the best cake I've ever had (which is at Pastisserie Manon in Las Vegas - their Truffle cake). The perfect equal layer of chocolate sponge, chocolate mousse, and chocolate ganache. MENU/RESTAURANT: I actually have no idea if there is a menu LOL I walked in and saw the croissant and it was like that's what I'm getting. Their website has all their items if anyone is interested. The restaurant is vary sparse and basic. But honestly I love that. To me it means this is a small place that is focused on their pastry and bread SERVICE:I stepped in close to closing time so a lot of the items was gone which I felt like the staff would want to be gone. There was only one person working and he was so friendly. I assume he was the baker due to his culinary jacket. He was super friendly and was trying to my two year who was not having any of it LOL.

OMG yes. A French bakery owned and operated by a super helpful and kind Senegalese. Decor is a cross of Senegal and classic French bakery. Clean, spacious yet small, and inviting.Everything we have tried from here has been excellent. The food is well-crafted and delicious. We will definitely be returning to try more of the broad and varied selection. Definitely worth supporting!

I stopped by Touba Bakery on a Sunday morning and was greeted with a sweet aroma of fresh baked French pastries and desserts. It was heavenly.LOCATION:Touba Bakery is located in a business plaza with nearest cross streets of Pacific Ave and 112th St SW in Everett, WA.SERVICE:The service from the young lady at the bakery was good. Although she didn't make any recommendations, there were enough sweets (and a variety of them) in the display case to entice us with our picks.MENU OFFERINGS:We went with the Pain Au Chocolate (Chocolate Croissant), 2 Canale, Lemon Meringue Tart, and a couple Turkey & Cheese Croissants for something savory. All were delicious but my favorite was the Canale! A very close second was the Lemon Meringue Tart. Scratch that - it's a tie for both! Equally delicious!AMBIANCE:I'm not sure if they were renovating the inside of the shop (I visited in May 2023) but it looked a bit cluttered inside. Not a big deal for me as we just picked up pastries to go.Overall, I was impressed with this small bakery: they had variety of pastries and desserts to choose from, and some savory items as well. I highly recommend stopping by and picking up a treat or two - oh, why not just make it a box of goodies? :)

The almond croissant was amazing! So flaky and crunchy. Probably my favorite item we had here. Great selection and everything tasted really fresh! Husband bought 5 items and it was around $26, reasonably priced for the quality of items. They do offer coffee too but we didn't get a chance to try this time. 100% would come again.

As soon as we walked into Touba Bakery, a heavy scent of butter and sugar in the air hit us. A very promising sign for any French bakery. We walked in on a Friday early morning and the super friendly owner immediately greeted us and walked us through the options. We opted for the following:Almond Croissant ($5.00) - This croissant had a well developed crust, maybe a little too developed - it was possibly baked a bit too long on the exterior. The interior was still chewy and buttery with good airy lamination. It was cut in half partially, like a hot dog bun, and filled with only a small amount of frangipane - it could definitely use more. The frangipane is quite smooth with skins removed from the almonds. There was also a small amount of frangipane covering the top of the croissant, along with sliced almonds. Once again, not very generous. The almond croissant was the weakest of the bunch but still delicious.Raspberry Chocolate Croissant ($6.25) - This had a super crunchy raspberry layer on top enveloping the soft croissant. That raspberry layer had a crunch like a thin hard candy. On the interior, we have normal croissant dough, with one laminated raspberry layer and one small baton of chocolate on the bottom. Like the almond croissant, the filling was a bit on the skimpy side, but the overall flavor and texture of this pastry was great.Brioche Feuilletée ($4.65) - I've never had this pastry before but I was very intrigued since it had an uncanny resemblance to a Kouign Amann. Once I bit into it, the differences become apparent. Instead of being a super laminated sweet pastry that comes apart layer by layer, this one is more enmeshed and bready. It's covered by a generous candied layer, and inside there is a sugary paste. This is very good, definitely recommended.Touba Bakery is a solid 4.5 for me. Some pastries aren't best in class, but everything is perfectly delicious. I would definitely be happy and stop by all the time if I lived nearby.

It was cool inside Touba Bakery when I entered around 10:00 a.m. today, Sunday 25 June 2023. A friendly worker greeted me and made me feel welcome with conversation. Looking over the displayed pastries/baked goods, I went with an apricot Danish as it was composed of two things I had been craving: a pastry (a Danish) and a fruit (apricot). Payment was straightforward and I was on my way.The apricot Danish was a work of art. Flaky layers readily gave way to my chopping teeth. The glaze was stick-to-my-fingers, and belly, good. The apricot was juicy and creamy cheese formed a pillow for the fruit to rest on. The innards of the flaky layers were soft and moist. A beautifully decadent food of art piece both to my eye and my gut.

I got 4 pastries today around 10am on a Saturday and the case was pretty well stocked. In order from most favorite to least favorite. 1. Raspberry chocolate croissant: The crunchy raspberry glaze on top was great but needed more chocolate as there was only a tiny bit along one side of the croissant2. Lemon meringue tart: Solid crust with a lemony filling and a soft meringue. 3. Almond croissant: This is not the usual twice baked version typically seen so it wasn't as dark which I appreciated. The filling wasn't really there until the very center so the almond flavor was missing for me. 4. Plain croissant: Disappointing. I would skip this one. I judge bakeries by their plain croissants and this one was a bit soggy, lacked salt and lacked a good butter flavor. Their croissants are better with some filling. Solid bakery. Reasonable prices. Yelp links to an incorrect website so this is the correct one. https://toubabakery.com/menu/

My wife and I frequent this small French bakery on the corner of 112th and Hwy 99 in Everett. When you walk in you get that fresh smell of pastries right out of the oven. The owner, Papa Seck, is the Baker and you can tell he takes pride in his work. He is from Senegal and wanted to bring a bit of home with him to the states while he fulfilled his passion. In the store you can see pictures and memorabilia from his country. You also can take it home with you for a price. He serves the coffee from Senegal which is also what the Cafe is named after. You will always feel welcome when you get there and most likely you will get to meet Papa and understand what I am talking about. Now the pastries, which are a great variety for everyone. They have many but I will just name a few of my favorites. Obviously they have the everyday go-to Croissant (you can get it with almonds, everything, jalapeno & cream cheese, even turkey), then there is the Canneles De Bordeaux which is one of my favorites. And you can't leave without getting Pain Au Chocolat which I love with my coffee. Some other items, Tarte's with fruit or chocolate or lemon, danish, Macaron, and many others. On some days he will even make a creme brulee but you better get there early because they go fast. And for take home you can get fresh baked bread of sorts.Don't take my word for it, go in and try your favorites. You will not be disappointed. There will be an update to this post, I took pictures but can't find them. I will update when I do.

Ordered the Almond Croissant and Chocolate Croissant and both with good. The Almond Croissant a generous amount of Almond Cream, which will be great for some. I thought it was a touch too sweet/overpowering, but it wasn't bad. The Chocolate Croissant was good, too, though I think it could've used a bit more chocolate. I heated both up when I got home, to try and have them close to an "out of the oven" experience. What I found to be a bit lacking, for me, is the crispy, flaky exterior and super light interior. Both were light, a bit soft to the bite, and a touch too dense for my personal reference. I'm being hyper critical. I think for most, it's very good. I've had a certain bakery ruin me and I compare everything to it - fair or unfair.I would also concede that it wasn't fresh out of the oven, from the bakery, and was heated up after being brought home - may have impacted my experience.
