My husband was craving for Crispy Pata. Thanks to you Yelp for helping us to find one, Toto's Grill. This is the first time we went at Toto's.Ordered Crispy Pata (Hock)Fried marinated milkfish (Bangus) and Taho (soybean curd) with sago (boba). The place is clean. The lady who helped us (Rose) is super nice and very polite. They have different kinds of Philippine street food. The food we ordered are all yummy delicious. I hope they will maintain the Crispy Pata serving (huge) and the cleanliness. We will definitely come back and try the street food.By the way we ordered take out.

We've been coming here for years, a stick was $1 back then.Brought our relatives from LA and from the Philippines who's just visiting. I know prices it's been up but if we're craving for something, it's okay ones in a while to experience what we used to enjoy and loved eating way back in the Philippines minus the prices of course. We were there around 5PM and all customers were to go so we have the entire grill for us. Customer service was great. Meat choices were great as usual. Only four star since the rice was mushy. Please check before serving so customers can enjoy their dining experience.

The place needs some cleaning and maintaining trash, over grown weeds, and dead plants. I recently visit this place and this is what it look like. Hopefully this is being taken care of. If the outside looks like this I wonder how was the inside where they prepare all of the skewers? The surrounding area not so pleasant to look at and the grilling station needs some up grading.

My Filipino friend introduced us to this local establishment that serves up Filipino BBQ skewers, and I had a great experience! We went here around 2:30pm for a late lunch and it was still bustling. When you enter, you choose the skewers you want, which costs around $1.85-2.00 depending on what you want, and you also have the option to order some entrees but we focused primarily on the skewers, their specialty. I personally loved the pork and chicken skewers as you can't go wrong with that, but the ones I found surprisingly good were the pig ears and fish cake. Once you get the skewers, they will give you some vinegar and sweet sauce to dip. Bring the skewers outside and place them in the charcoal grill to heat it up and maybe make it more char as you wish. 8 skewers was more than enough for a meal, costing about $16 which was well worth the price. Cash is recommended.

Been here twice in the last month and I just have to say it hits every time! This will immediately remind you of the street vendors in the Philippines. I am born and raised here in SD and am so glad that there a place like this that can make my mom feel at home. It is such a simple process, come in pick what you want and warm it up on the grill in the back. I love that they set it up this way it really adds to the experience. Everything taste authentic- it's the real deal! Plenty of parking, easy to find, friendly staff, and the vibe is great with the music selection and plenty of inside and outside seating. I highly suggest this place to anyone who is down to try some good Filipino street food. I will mention that the lumpiang gulay is bomb!! Super crunchy and fresh. You have to try one! I can on and on- but the point is- this place is a hit! Go check them out!

Wife & Family like it, and that's good enough for me! Had a great experience overall.. This place you have to cook your own food on a grill outside. So be prepared to do some cooking. They have great chicken feet!

I'm a little disappointed I didn't know of this place earlier. I've seen locations like this in LA, but it's nice to know we have one local.Process is quick and easy. Choose what you want from a bar, buy it, get your sauces like garlic vinegar then go reheat it on charcoal grills to eat. It's easy to get too many.Even though there's sooo many options, it's easy to try them all by just getting one stick each. There's some safe, common ones like chicken bbq, pork bbq, fish ball, lobster ball. Then you can explore more common Filipino street food options like bulaklak (ruffled pork fat), pork intestine, beef intestine, chicken feet, pig ears etc. Don't get carried away at the grill, you can see by my photos I may have burned a few. I enjoyed all of it. It's been over 18 years since I really got food like this in the Philippines, but I think this is what it tasted like.

My 10yo old niece and I wanted to try something different and found Toto's grill...we liked it! Definitely some interesting choices that we weren't brave enough to try (chicken feet, intestines and more) but we liked the bbq chicken, bbq pork, spring rolls and sesame balls. My niece enjoyed heating up her own food on the little grills and we enjoyed our lunch on the outside patio. Everyone was very friendly and we decided we'll be back
