Toshi's Teriyaki

The Health Dept sign says it all: Okay. Toshi Teriyaki is not good or excellent, it's okay. They're a little chaotic and have a hard time remembering to give their customers chopsticks, but the food is okay.Now that their health department designation has been downgraded, I probably won't return

I arrived in town and was hungry. I took a chance on trying this random place and what a SCORE! The restaurant was super busy with only one lady working the counter. She was so friendly, efficient and overall excellent. The food was perfect with a nice charcoal on the chicken. The teriyaki sauce sweet and perfect and salad dressing was homemade and delicious with just the right amount of sweet. Definitely highly recommend this place. The only downside is their AC was non existent so it was very stuffy in the restaurant.

Customer service was wonderful. The restaurant itself was welcoming, well lit, and had cute signs on the walls. The chicken teriyaki was dry, even though I added quite a bit of sauce. Rice was dry as well.

Horrible experience here and I will NOT be going back! My boyfriend and I ordered chicken teriyaki and katsu and the rice smelled spoiled like they didn't clean the rice cooker that day. It was so bad I couldn't even finish my meal. I called the restaurant to see if they could give us a refund. The owner called me back and asked if we could bring the food back so they could check it or else there's nothing they could do. So I left my newborn to bring the food back in hopes of a refund because the food was clearly bad. After checking the food and finding "nothing wrong with it", they REFUSED to give me a refund. I will NOT be spending my money here again. You just lost a customer!!

We were looking for teriyaki place and this place satisfied my cravings! I ordered chicken, beef, and katsu but apparently they didnt hear the beef and only served me the chicken and katsu, it was fine since it was an honest mistake, but they still served me a beef teriyaki on the side for free. It was a nice gesture and i really appreciate it. The servers were all nice and accommodating :)

Best around. I drive from Federal way often to this location from the Katsu to spicy teriyaki all yummy

I don't mind driving to this place even though I have another Toshi's place closer to my house I can go walking. The food is DELICIOUS and the prices are understandable because the plates are BIG. The service is amazing, they're always nice and I haven't had any problems. All the decoration is great as well and they have good music too! I always recommend this place if people ask me about a good teriyaki place

Aside from it just saying "okay" on the food safety sign next to their door, I had a great experience. I just randomly decided to try this place on my way home from Fred Meyers. I got the teriyaki and broccoli beef. I believe it was the best broccoli beef I've ever had! I also got miso soup that was great. The server was very sweet. I really don't have anything bad at all to say and I'll definitely be coming back for more crispy broccoli beef.

i ordered pork stir fry. The portion was poor and the only vegetables were cabbage and shredded carrots. What a joke! I even requested extra vegetables which I would have paid for! I was looking forward to this meal as I hadn't eaten all day.

I called and placed an order within the last hour of the day, the person who answered was super nice and helpful while ordering. Upon arriving the place looked nice and well kept aside from the "okay" food service rating on the front door. I ordered the general tsaos chicken, with a 15% tip came out to just shy of 18$. The sauce was decent but the breading of the chicken was kinda gummy. Unfortunately slightly reminded me of grocery store deli food. Might go back to try out the teriyaki but don't know how soon.
