Toscana Forno

I ventured into Toscano Forno in Peabody this past week. This is the toscano at 139 Lynnfield St (there are several toscanos so make sure you go to this one!) Whoever said there is no good Italian food outside of the north end is a liar!Starting off, we indulged in their new toasted ravioli and the eggplant tower for appetizers. The mini toasted raviolis were a dream - cooked to perfection with a fantastic crunch, and the marinara sauce? Simply decadent! 9/10. The eggplant tower, layered with mozzarella and prosciutto, was a bit of a challenge to share, but oh-so-delicious nonetheless 8/10.Moving on to the main course, their prosciutto pizza with San Marzano tomatoes, basil, and prosciutto was a revelation . That custom Italian pizza oven in the restaurant does wonders, delivering a perfectly crispy crust with a sauce that's out of this world! 9/10.We also savored their homemade fusilli pasta with sausage and the braised short rib ravioli. The ravioli? An easy 10/10 - so rich, and for a mushroom lover like me, pure bliss! The fusilli was cheesy and delightful, though I craved more sausage in the mix 8/10.For dessert, their bread pudding was simply heavenly . There's something about a warm dessert that pairs so well with ice cream, and this was no exception 9/10.I'm already planning my next visit! With $10 pizzas on Wednesdays , live music on Thursdays , and a rentable hall, Toscano Forno is a must-try.Ratings:Food: 9/10 Affordability: 7/10 Ambiance: 7/10

The food is always great. They seem to have a lot of new interesting specials now. Last night I a fig appetizer that was stuffed cheese, nuts, bed of arugula and cherry tomatoes, and some type of sauce. It was great. The service is always very good here. Mariana is the best.

Parking is easy there's a lot and they even had valet the night we were there.Inside it's very dark and loud- was tough to have conversations- each table was yelling over the music and the tables around them.Wine list is decent- I got a Merlot that was very good. The pour was generous too.For food I got the bolognese and my mother got the eggplant rollitini- both were delicious.High prices for the 'burbs but decent size portions.

Our limited sample of 4 dinners would suggest that the lasagna is the best thing we ordered. Good food, quick service, noisy dining room (for good or ill).We started with salads, I had the 1/2 wedge salad which I thought was pretty good. Unfortunately our entrees came before we finished our salads :-(I had the veal braciole with mushroom cream sauce and risotto (pictured). It was pretty good but I would have liked one more braciole and less risotto. There was so much creamy rice I couldn't finish it all.The winner ordered the lasagna. It was huge, hot and she loved it.My wife ordered the bolognese, which she thought was OK but it kinda cold.Their huge pizza oven looked pretty cool, it I went back I'd try the pizza.OK meal, not great.*Big* dining room, holds a ton of diners.

This food not only tasted awful but it made me and my bf very sick. Please do not order from here gave us food poisoning.

We went for Mother's Day and it was a great experience for all. Service was attentive on this busy day and the food was delicious!

Lisa the event manager was outstanding! She made the room look just right and the food came out in the perfect order and the setup was just right too. We had 2 bereavement gatherings of 150 people within a month's time and the first was good, but Lisa just made everything better for the second. I was specific about a few things and Lisa delivered everything that my family requested. Food was great! Pizza, chicken parm, baked haddock, salad, apps, desserts, coffee station. Open bar and staff were great! Thanks so much Toscana Forno & Lisa!

Went on a Saturday night and sat on the patio. What a fantastic first-time experience! Giuliana was our waitress and she was awesome! She spaced out our meal perfectly. Food was delicious and so glad we discovered this spot. We will be back!

Excellent service by Alice. She had great recommendations Loved the caprese salad. The margarita pizza was excellent. The spicy rigatoni was very good.
