Tortas Chiwas

I found this place in Yelp! I was trying to find some place new and there it was. I visited a Sunday afternoon. There place is hidden in a plaza right next to a sports bar. It had no name on the outside but it wasn't hard to find. There was only one other person eating in the restaurant which gave me it's not really good vives. Boy was I wrong!! I had a Chiwas Torta which was delicious. We also got the asada burrito and it was also delicious. My husband had a hibiscus water and he said it was amazing. We paid $30 for a torta, burrito, French fries and two drinks. Not bad at all. Can't wait to go back and try a different torta.

My girlfriend was craving Tortas so I took her to this place and the food was amazing. The bread was so good. Although they didn't have my favorite meat pastor so I got the shredded pork tacos and they were just as good. This will be our Torta place!

This place is yummy. Great homemade food, fast service. Competitive pricing. I really like their enchiladas. I've eaten there five or six times since they opened. Their street tacos are a great deal on Tuesdays, the first time I went there I got one of every kind they sell and compared them. My only regret was that I didn't ask them to label each one. My bad I guess, but my husband and I lamented the fact that had I been ordering for the whole family it would be impossible to know whose was whose ! So maybe not my bad. On the plus side we both had one bite of each kind and loved all of them. This is flip flop restaurant not a suit and tie place. I always get take out so I don't know if they have real silverware or not.

Tortas are really good. Price is good too. They make them fresh to order i recommend anyone who looking for a quick bite of Mexican food here!

Delicious tortas and tacos for an insanely good price! Also love that they had the Guava Jaritos to drink.

By far the best tacos I've had in AZ since I've been here for over a year. The customer service is spot on and the environment inside the restaurant was inviting. They most definitely do not short you your meat for the tacos. I had to get a togo box for two left over. The toppings (onion, cilantro, & cabbage) tasted fresh. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Delicious.

This place is small and tucked away next to Gabbys. Every time I go there it isn't busy, but it should be. The tacos are phenomenal and salsas are fresh and delicious. It's very clean. My favorite thing is the tripas it's so good. I'd love to walk in and see the placed packed because I don't want the guy to go out of business

Delicious and authentic. Friendly service and the food was great. If you are looking for traditional Mexican food, this is the place.
