Torchy's Tacos

I've been to Torchy's a thousand times over in Texas prior to moving to Nashville, and my first time in on the opening date reminded me so much of home, and made my heart and stomach smile because the food tastes exactly the same! I brought 2 of my friends with me to have them try it for the first time and they loved it as well! The portions are pretty big for a taco, which is helpful because the cost/taco is a touch on the higher end.We got the brushfire, trailer park trashy, and chicken fajita, 2 full orders of the green chile queso, and 2 margaritas- one wild berry strawberry swirl, and one passion fruit wild berry swirl. The drinks were a decent size, and it being happy hour was extremely helpful! The jerk chicken on the brushfire tacos was flavorful, and the diablo sauce definitely kicks up the heat (use sparingly!!). I advise you mix the queso up with a chip and go crazy from there, it's some of the best queso I've ever had. There's a touch of spice from the diablo sauce, creaminess from the Guac, and texture from the Chile's and cojita cheese. Literally a chefs kiss.I'd also suggest you sign up for the rewards program to earn free tacos!The staff was friendly and able to give suggestions based on your palate. Def recommend coming here for your taco desires!

Welcome to Nashville Torchy's! Great addition to the Nashville food scene! Parking isn't great but the area in general has limited parking or paid parking. Queso is still the best!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday! Very short line and plenty of indoor seating. We ordered a frozen passion fruit house drink, a variety of tacos (beef, pork, grilled shrimp, fried chicken), and the queso and chips. The queso was pretty good, though small in portion size. The tacos tasted more like a bunch of separate ingredients rather than a fusion of flavors. I think there are a lot of better taco options in Nashville (especially the Nolensville area) for a better price than Torchy's!

Was really excited to try this place while in Nashville for a work trip. I ordered the trailer park and hogfather Tacos and was not impressed. The food tasted like it came out of a bag. Service was good, which is honestly what gave them any stars at all. It's in a part of Nashville way out of the way with super tasty tacos nearby that are much better. We had the chance to try the new Nashville Torchy's this evening. I fell in love with Torchy's on a recent trip to Texas, and I was so excited to hear they were coming to Nashville. They were quite busy on a Saturday evening, but the line to place your order moved reasonably fast. We tried the Trailer Park, Baja Shrimp, and Republican tacos, as well as the salsa, guacamole, and Torchy's famous queso. I love the guacamole and green chilis in the queso, and it's great that they are happy to supply you with fresh chips when you're ready for a refill. Everything was a hit! We are looking forward to many return trips to Nashville's Torchy's, and I'm sure Torchy's will earn many new fans in this area.

The service was excellent, definitely the highlight and reason I would keep coming back. The food was pretty good, mostly well seasoned. The guac could use a bit extra seasoning, and the tacos were fully loaded. The price was fair, and the chips were fresh. I loved how clean the space was, would definitely recommend to friends looking for a casual bite in midtown.

This new Torchys is a very welcome addition to Midtown Nashville!! I had never tried a Torchys before and was very excited to attend the soft opening. They LOADED up the tacos, the meats were flavorful and toppings plentiful. The chips were super hot and fresh and the dips were all delish. Service was phenomenal, shoutout Miguel for refilling our chips without us even asking! The dining room has a really cool vibe and a unique aesthetic, it could get a little loud but that's a given considering how many people will be rushing to try this food!

Arrived in Nashville this morning and my daughter took this Texas Mama to the new Torchy's. It was on point! Decor fab and fun! Food DELISH AS ALWAYS, Service outstanding! Met the manager Alicia, and she is working the place making sure everyone is good, split the long line at one point to keep people moving. Great lunch and a fun start to our day!

Service , atmosphere, and Damn good Tacos !! The green chile queso and Hogfather taco are great

Was hijacked en route to Velvet Taco and am so glad for the Torchy's intervention. Great atmosphere, solid food (shrimp tacos were the standout) and excellent service (shoutout Sara and Money!!) ... will be coming back!
