I have never had a bad time at topsail! We did our post wedding drinks here and it was a blast. We have been here many times after too!Service is a little slow so you want to order everything fast as it will take longer.Ambiance is top notch and there is not a bad sight around!

Went on a date with my husband and had delicious food ,Drinks and service . We got greeted by 2 very nice hostess and sat us right away . The servers was very nice and cameRight away with waters and ready to take our order I had a chicken Cobb (you can ordered it with salmon)salad the amount of portions for each ingredient is perfect it has avocado boiled egg bacon , Blue cheese and I'm probably missing more ingredients but if you feel like having a salad try this one it's delicious, husband ordered a steak very tender juicy and perfectly seasoned with French fries , we had old fashions the view is gorgeous next to star of India perfect for a date as well as for families , we will definitely be back. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about all our questions regarding the menu. Ordered some oysters that were very fresh. The special was delicious but much a much smaller of a portion than I expected but still worth it. I also enjoyed a red wine blend. The view was absolutely breathtaking as we sat outside with a perfect view of the sunset over the ocean. There was a heater outside so it wasn't too chilly.

I've been here 4 times. First 3 were on Sundays during their brunch. This is the reason why I have come back repeatedly. The Macadamia French Toast is to die for. It has the perfect crunch yet soft in the middle. My family enjoyed their fish & chips & breakfast skillet. The cocktails are refreshing.Service has been excellent each time we have visited. The views from up top are absolutely breathtaking and perfect for relaxing and enjoying good company. Why 4 stars vs 5? The last time we were there was on a Saturday morning where we discovered they only offer brunch on Sundays. The food was not the greatest and a bit disappointing considering how good their brunch menu is. It's a bit pricey for food that is okay on any other day. Save your visit for Sunday mornings.

This is a must do in SD with the waterfront views and lobster tacos! I came here with a group of friends before a concert and it was a hot sunny weekend day. Multiple ppl were gathered around, and we ordered several menu items during our dining experience. Drink: Spa Day. Tasted like lemonade, and I couldn't taste the alcohol so I ordered two, lol. What we had:Oysters - Super fresh! Perfect to eat with the spectacular view!Lobster tacos - Meaty and delicious, highly recommend you order this. Brussel Sprouts - You get quite a bit of vegetables with this dish. This is shareable, and I like the crisp on the brussels.Pear Flatbread with Balsamic Vinaigrette. I really liked this because it was sweet with the pears and had some savory elements with the cheese. Pairs well with wine. Service was on point, however, when they clear your plates and you're still picking on your food, they don't give you fresh plates and utensils unless you ask. We also had to frequently ask for water for our party. Overall, I had a good experience, and you can't beat the view!

We decided to stop by here for a drink on a Friday evening prior to dinner reservations . Got a spot at the bar and the service was attentive. The views were phenomenal and overall the place had a good vibe. I would stop by here for a drink or two if I am in the area.

Mojitos first, order one they are good! Then take in the view of the pier, very relaxing:) Now for the food, not as good as I hoped but what I would recommend is the apple, pear and Brie flat bread as well as the lobster tacos. We also ordered the octopus, we thought it was going to be grilled but it wasn't grilled enough, it was chewy and cold. The fish in the fish and chips was dry but the fries are good. Service was giving bare minimum but not in a rude way, they were just busy. Meter parking. No validation.

I wrongly posted this review to Ketch and Grill Taps because they are on the same building, but Topsail is on the deck level... Anyway, here's my review for Topsail. We had dinner there last Wednesday 5/15/24.I am looking for the best place to enjoy the rest of the evening while in San Diego and found this place in the Embarcadero area. Cool vibes and just perfect to spend early evening. Alicia gave us the best service so far. We tried the Halibut Fish and chips. The fish is very fresh, juicy, and tastes good. The fries that go with it are a little soft (soggy) and overcooked. We also tried the fresh oyster. They have great fresh oyster. We loved it! Price is reasonable considering they are located just beside the Maritime Museum and have an incredible wide deck view. You can't be wrong if you just want to have a good light dinner and some drinks with your partner or friends.Will give 4.8 for ambiance and service.

I definitely recommend for appetizers, or an after dinner drink with dessert. I least a bit fan of the atmosphere. Tonight our server Alexa did not seem to want to be at work and that's okay. People have off days. Definitely recommend to visit but may be sit at the bar or ask for a different server.
