Top Of The Hill Quality Produce

A bit behind a gas station and off of NE 4th in Renton is an unassuming yet excellent neighborhood produce and meat market - Top of the Hill Quality Produce. This shop has an array of fresh produce and a curated selection of other quality home goods, with quick and friendly service. I just purchased some perfect berries, asparagus, enormous potatoes, and very reasonably priced apples. Will be back for meat next time I visit. My family moved here from Seattle a year ago. This neighborhood shop is more attractive, better stocked and yet more reasonable than anything I have seen there. Just had never checked this place out until today.

I don't have pictures yet because I completely spaced and was taking in all the goodness that this market has to offer. The produce is top notch, so fresh, the prices are fair and so much better than your chain stores. The butchers are so nice, willing to answer any questions you may have and order anything you may want if they don't have it. They have a variety of specialty items, about of smoked items too (whole smoked duck, chickens...) Go check it out!!!!

Covid 2020 changed not only the world, but it has changed my shopping habits.This grocer has now become my go-to grocer for several reasons:-consistent customer service-covid guidelines while still having awesome customer service-fresh produce and quality meats-monkfruit homemade jerky... hellllooooo!Thank you for being a part of the community, consistent customer service, safety during covid, fresh products!

Top of the Hill (except it's not) offers a good variety of local, regional, and brought in produce. On my most recent visit, I tried three new varieties of apples. (Two out of three were excellent.) They also had local greens. I was happily surprised by their small and busy butcher counter and selection of specialty goods. The specialty items would allow easily putting together several full Italian meals, or gifting locally made sweets or soup mixes. They also carried holiday treats and Christmas trees in season. This is a great local spot that can fill up your kitchen or send you on your way with a gift.

Nice curated selection of local and regional treats, plus fresh produce and a butcher shop in the back. Awesome selection of meat rubs and sauces. I am a huge fan of small local markets and this one was really friendly and well worth the drive to Renton - great selection of what really does feel like curated goodies, including local cookies, bread, honey, jams, preserves, pickles, etc., paired with upscale and international foods. Did not get enough time to browse the store and especially the produce section because spouse finished up at the meat counter - sausages FTW! - but we intend to come back.

I went there for the first time this weekend and bought some produce. They have very good fresh stuff here. And the girl who rang up my order was very polite and helpful. She recommended some stuff from the meat department that i want to try now. Some meat skewers she said were really good. I'm definitely coming back.

I love going here for fresh veggies and meats and on my wedding day they have my wife and me free flowers for her

This reminds me of a mom/pop produce shop that has some selective items for sale. We were able to score some fresh corn and I saw a variety of cheeses, wines, dips, fruits/produce. I would come back but be aware there is a mark up on prices on some items.

The staff were so sweet! Everyone said hello and asked how I was doing or if I needed help. They had a great produce selection. I didn't get anything from the meat counter but they were very busy so I have to assume they have great meat too!

It was my first time shopping there today and the staff was funny and friendly. They didn't have the frozen waffles or frozen popsicles that were on my grocery list but I would still come by again.
