Top Notch BBQ

This BBQ Pit is a tad off the beaten path on FM 1093 between Fulshear and Simonton, but oh so worth the drive. Generous portions of so tasty BBQ and sides. Can't wait for the next stop!

The BEST chopped beef sandwich ever! The beef is perfectly cooked and the sauce is sweet with a little kick. The owner is absolutely unbelievable. He knows exactly how to chop the perfect pieces for the sandwich and just enough sauce for the sandwich to melt in your mouth. They have chopped beef nachos too! Everything is seasoned perfectly and I can't wait to see them again!

I finally got to go try out this BBQ yesterday. I had heard many good reviews from locals. I had the pork rib plate with beans and potato salad. It was awesome. The ribs were flavorful and tender. Not too much smoke but just right. I am from Memphis TN and have had very good BBQ and this BBQ had a better flavor, meatier than some of the Memphis style ribs. Highly recommend this place. Will go back again.

First time and I think the first customer of the day. Now I have traveled extensively to try BBQ (Dallas Houston Austin Memphis Carolinas etc.) and having something minutes from my house is always nice. Location off a reasonable busy road in Fulshear. Large selection of options for sandwiches and dishes ready within a matter of minutes. This is solo run location. Really friend Pitcooker who gave personal options to help suit my needs. Order:Brisket sandwich (chopped) Side of sausageSide of BBQ Baked BeansPresentation is excellent. With reasonably large servings. The brisket is chopped which normally I prefer sliced. From what I gathered there was a good amount of char and smoke penetration. The sauce was subtle and just enough to add a little flavor and kick. However the rub was a little heavy on the salt for my taste. The sausage was a hefty portion especially for $3. Nice snap from the casing with rich but once again slightly too salty for my taste luckily...BBQ Baked Beans were a happy compliment to that heavy salt from the brisket and sausage. The Beans were definitely a very good option to take if looking to add a side to your purchase. All in all the is a good place for good BBQ. But warned the food does run out quick. Obviously he's doing something right. Not to mention all that food for $14.

Great little place with ribs the size of railroad ties! Couldn't finish it all. Great service and staff. Will stop here again!

This is our first time being here and we are hooked. I took a picture of my sandwich and the sauce glistened . Amazing prices and amazing food. We'll be back soon!

Love this place! Food is fantastic!!! My husband and I love picking it up on Saturdays!! Owner is an awesome guy - super friendly!!! Potato salad and bbq beans are delicious and ribs are always tender!

Stopped by the other day to get some Brisket. The owner was there and he is a great guy. His brisket was marbled as ordered and had a very nice smoke flavor. Seasoned perfectly. I was very pleased and will go back!
