Top Donuts

Service was amazing, my nephew loved the donuts. We both got a chapel hill sausage kolache and it was soooo good. The sweet lady gave us free donut holes. But the best part was the maple bacon donut it is delicious.

Amazing donuts and kolaches!! We've tried a variety of donuts and several different kolaches and they've all been fresh and delicious!

Brought my family on a 30 min drive to try this place and they did not disappoint! The breakfast egg rolls are a MUST!! That is the reason we drove to get out breakfast fix. We tried the boudin Kolache which was delicious. My kids loved the donuts as well. Thank you Top Donut! Sincerely, you new customers from Spring.

I'm always looking for more from donut shops. There are so many great opportunities to experiment. Top Donuts has done just that. I was surprised to see an egg roll filled with egg and sausage. It was amazing. Best thing I have ever had at a donut shop. The wrapper was thicker than you'd normally see from a fried spring roll, and super crispy. The inside was soft, with very tasty sausage. It was a great contrast. The Kolaches were also tasty. It's a subtle difference that makes a big impact. Less dough. I think the reason I like these so much more than other places is that each bite has more meat. No bites of only bread at Top Donut. *Below are shameless requests that were inspired by the egg roll. The experience made me think. I love boudin. I always want to like boudin Kolaches. I just never really like the boudin and bread combo. It's too soft for me. I would love to see a boudin egg roll. That crispy outside with the soft rice inside would be amazing. If Top Donut ever makes a batch, I'll be first in line to try it. Another shameless request because there are so many foods I would love to see served a donut shops: Chinese fried/steamed pork buns. For the uninitiated, think meatball wrapped in dough. Reminds me a lot of a kolache. If a restaurant ever put that on the menu, I'd put them on my list of regular breakfast spots. *I'm also kind of curious. Why is an egg roll called an egg roll. I don't think they have egg do they? Did Top Donut just create the egg egg roll or just an egg roll?

Great customer service. Love the boudin kolaches and breakfast egg rolls ! I have to come here atleast once a week.

Came here based on good reviews and amazing pictures. This place is no longer like this. Just came here at 9am and the donut cases were less than half empty. No specialty donuts if any kind. No maple bacon donuts that I read about. No holes, no cream filled donut. So got an "eclair" which was pretty much a chocolate donut bar overfilled with cream. Wasn't a true pastry with thick chocolate, very sad. Got a few of the usual donuts, glazed rings and pink sprinkle donuts. They were pretty small. Tasted like a simple donut. They were nothing like the reviews from years ago stated. I got a sausage kolache and it was better than Shipley donuts kolache, the bread was more pastry like and buttery, but not as big or fresh tasting as kolache Facotry. This place tastes like the donuts were half a day old. Sorry top, but your on the bottom of my list. Won't be back

Was in the area and Top Donuts came up as being great. NOPE. The pics of the place are deceiving, u walk in and don't see all them donuts. A large variety to pick from, not so. Got kolaches and expensive. Shoulda gone to Chick Fil A and got a full breakfast for the price of kolaches.

3 words. MAPLE BACON DONUTS!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and try one. Your taste buds will forever thank you. I called right before I got in my car so they're waiting for me when I got to the shop (they don't have it on display, but will make them on request). They have tons of cute pastel glazed donuts and a variety of savory kolaches/pastries (breakfast sandwiches, boudain, egg rolls, etc).I go out of my way (pass 3 other donut shops) to get here and it's so worth it. My son informed me that Top Donuts is now his favorite donut shop and he no longer favors chocolate sprinkle donuts but the maple bacon donuts is now a priority... and will never look back.

If I could rate this place ZERO stars I would! This place is horrible! The owner is rude as hell and is in denial that his food is nasty I bit into the sausage & cheese kolache the bottom was wet and soggy I knew it had to be frozen so when I took it back the owner was rude and said to never come back the lady who also works behind the counter admitted that the kolache was indeed FROZEN! Never again coming back here.
