Ripoff! A "large" burrito was $13+ and smaller than a soda can. Not returning.

Went to Heartwork to get coffee and wanted to grab food before going about my day. Google had a 4* rating for it. I had passed by Tony's many times in the past so I decided to give it a try. The entrance is not on Washington, but on Eagle. Parking in their lot is marked for 30-minutes. Drive-thru is an awkward situation where you order on the left (drivers side) and the pick-up window is on the right (passenger side). They use a tray to reach out to the car.Food was fresh, no complaints there. Ordered a deluxe breakfast burrito and a buenos dias burrito. The intercom system seemed problematic as I couldn't hear them well and and somehow my I ended up with some other sort of burrito. Whatever I got ended up with had sliced deli meat in it. Also felt a bit off after eating it. The buenos dias burrito was fine, but the salsa was lacking flavor.

Open 24 hrs a day. Might be why the order was messed up...Went through the drive thru. It was awkward because you have to pay and grab your food via the passenger side. They have a large stick though to place your money and grab your food. Staff had a 'I hate my job I don't want to be here' vibe.Ordered:Bacon breakfast and carne asada breakfast burritos. They gave us a ham burrito instead of carne asada...Ham burrito was awful. Salty deli meat style ham pieces. $10.99 ended up tossing it.Bacon was okay. $10.99. Mexican salsa aka pico de Gallo was throughout the burrito. French fries were very very hot and oily.Both burritos were very hot. I couldn't even hold them they were so hot. Ate them after a 15 min drive, still SUPER hot. At least it seems like they honor the 'fresh' part of their name for the breakfast burritos.Definitely would not go back.

I paid over 40.00 for the worst tacos in my life. I ordered 6 grilled shrimp tacos. What I received was three tacos on each plate. I had to deconstruct them to make my own tacos. 12 tortillas (that were COLD). They were stacked 2 apiece under at least 2 bags of coleslaw mix cabbage - raw. On top of each tortilla drowning in shaved cabbage was 4-5 medium sized grilled shrimp. No chopped white onion, No guacamole, No radishes, no grilled jalepeños, no cilantro. The salsa bar was ok in selection - but no tomato, garlic, dried chiles, onion. ASADA, to form the salsas. I deconstructed the plates, piling up the 12 tortillas, putting all the cabbage on one plate, and made my own tacos. In six tacos, there was enough shrimp for 4 DECENT tacos, with a touch of the cabbage and some salsa, along with one cold tortilla apiece. I hate waste and it sickened me to throw away all that cabbage, and the remaining 8 tortillas.NEVER again will I go there. Tacos were 5.49 apiece and you carry them to the table yourself, and I tipped 10% up front - hungry and with great expectations. Huge disappointment.

I've been to this location since it was MXN and since the change the food has been just bad, chicken wings and Cubans should let you know but I stopped coming here because they always mess up my order with out doubt but tonight again they did it and I've avoided this place for years living just down the street, never again.

Wow. i live next door to this place and at first, i didn't realize it was this good- i had the carne asada and i thought it was alright. BUT BUT BUT, I'm all about the carnitas. The carnitas taco was literally the bomb dot com. It was crispy and soft at the same time. It wasn't dry and it was juicy but not too fatty. YOU literally HAVE to try the carnitas in any way shape or form. Also, the micheladas was *mwuah* chefs kiss. The combination of champy and the michelada was just so so good. Definitely have to try this place and you'll be happy you did :) I'd say the weekdays are a lot easier and not as long of a line, so try it then :)

A extra star only because the menu is huge, so everything here can't be awful. Do yourself a favor: believe the poor reviews and go elsewhere. My friend ordered the beef fajitas. What he got was slop. Fajitas are supposed to come grilled and sizzling. His was like a cold chopped salad. His "guacamole" was literally liquid.Worst of all, when we took this slop the counter, the lady working the register didn't care. She refused to remake the food, refused to let him order something else, refused to give efund. Awful food, awful service.Pics and vids added for proof. Does this look like fajitas?At least my breakfast burrito wasn't that bad, although it did taste like cardboard.

Alright please read this... There are specific demographics that might like to eat here once a month for their self so that they still feel alive basically... This place scores extremely high in a nostalgic common sense vibe.If you are a picky eater etc you might get cheese w/that etc but staff is very approachable to make corrections. This place gave me a local vibe to it and not a place outsiders would normally go to or people are used to eating at national chains etc. I recommend more for people first moving in the neighborhood etc but for some reason I can also see tourists who have a slightly tough skin vibe might enjoy this place. It's just a weird feeling I get, it's hard to explain. Also if you are not on a very strict diet and are feeling adventurous I recommend trying this place but if you are an usually picky person then maybe the vibe might feel a little off etc.

Charged me $16 for a La Paz burrito. Surf and turf. And gave me a California. Super disappointing I didn't have time to switch it out. So I overpaid for a burrito that was a regular lame burrito. Dec, 5th 2023 at 12pm.

I never review places but this place has been so terrible on multiple occasions I feel compelled to do so. I even had to make a yelp account, that's how much trouble I'm going through to make this review. THIS PLACE IS THAT BAD. This is the worst mexican food ever. They truly don't deserve this location. I live in mission hills and I'm Mexican and it's a shame that this wealthy neighborhood keep this place afloat. The food quality is trash. Like I know it sounds like I'm going in hard but seriously trash. They don't care about what they serve. It's literally the only thing open late night but I don't know why I even keep trying but last night sent me. The enchiladas weren't even rolled up! It was like a flat enchilada! And the chicken was like scrap a chicken with cartilage. I've even tried to order a quesadilla because you can't really mess up a Quesadilla right? Tortilla + cheese. NOPE. They can mess that up too.
