There are several really good taco shops on Miramar Road, however, Tony's is the only one with a drive-thru. That is what makes it a frequent lunch option for me. Not only that, it's pretty good. The only downside of the drive-thru is the awkward location. The parking lot for this shopping center is super tight and the drive-thru is not a dedicated drive-thru. The speaker box just runs along the back side of the building and easily gets blocked when there are a lot of cars around. Tony's is your typical taco shop and you will find everything you are used to getting at other places. Food is always hot and fresh. I never mind having to wait for my order because I know it means freshness. My go-to items here are the carne asada fries and the breakfast burrito.

Do not come here! All my tacos were covered in mold!!! This is not a fresh food place at all and the service is horrible, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE, it's better to starve than to come here!

Best taco shop in Miramar. Good specials & great taco Tuesday deals. Nice people working here. Outstanding salsa bar with good selection & sometimes Chile Toreados, yum.

Came here late at night for a quick dinner. I went through the drive thru and it was really quick. Service was good and the food was better than I expected! It tasted fresh and the portions was just right. I will definitely be coming back.

I've been here several times and it's usual Ok. Hot sauce is good. This time I got an unexpected surprise! There was a metal screw in my burrito, as you can see in the pics below. I managed to crack my tooth on it. When I attempted to call this establishment they said the Manager was not in but would be in later. So I called later and the guy that answered the phone told me he did not know who the manager was. I could hear him taking to his co-workers and he claimed no one there knew who the manager was. As a former patron, I'll never go back and I warn you to tread very lightly at this place.

The people giving Tony's a bad wrap are delusional.. folks are complaining about cocktail sauce and other condiments at a fast food Mexican place. I am tired of the Tony's slander. Tony's is certified regardless of Point Loma or Mira Mesa as long as you know what to order. You're going to a fast food Mexican place that's open 24 hour, not the Marine Room. You get the La Paz burrito or Tony's Mixed burrito and it's game over.

I ordered several tacos and was excited to try this restaurant. I started with the shrimp tacos and found what appears to be mold on the tortillas. I called the restaurant and was told that the purple cabbage can cause the green/blue mold color. I do not recommend this restaurant.
