I don't know why but I was craving a nice bowl of hot ramen on a warm humid day in Georgia. Located inside the Ponce City Market food hall, Ton Ton was a hidden gem for me to satisfy my ramen urge. The noodle and broth were tasty, as well as the chashu pork in the ramen. My Tonkatsu classic bowl ($15) arrived within minutes of ordering so I didn't have to wait long. The service was great. The hostess helped me select the appetizer (go for the pork belly!) to complement my ramen. I was a happy camper after eating.

3-1/2 stars for the service. While deciding what to eat at Ponce City Market, I ended up at Ton Ton, as I was craving some noodles. I ordered Ton Ton's special, the Invincible Dan Dan Mazemen, to try out. The plate came beautifully-presented, but unfortunately, the taste wasn't up to standard: the soft-boiled egg was already hardened, and there wasn't enough thickness in the sauce to coat the noodles: as a result, the flavors tasted weak, and I wasn't getting enough of the rich mazemen flavor I'd expected.Overall, very-average noodles. I've had better mazemen elsewhere. Service was nice, though, and I appreciated them holding onto my hat, as I'd left it by accident!

Service: Servers were attentive, polite, and food was served quickly. We ate around 11:45am for an early lunch, so it wasn't too busy.Food: Disclaimer - recently moved from LA, so accustomed to a relatively high standard of Asian food. The broth - well salted, but not super flavorful. Typically with tonkotsu, there's a rich depth of flavor and the thickness of the broth provides a wonderful mouth feel. The chashu - one slice was tough and chewy, the other was more tender. However, flavor was more like a regular grilled pork belly than chashu. The egg - I personally like the soy marinade in it, but my wife felt it was a bit too sweet. I think it paired well with the rest. The noodles - they weren't chewy and were a little overcooked. My wife's shoyu ramen noodles were clumped together on arrival, indicating either 1) they were cooked too early or 2) they weren't separated well during the cooking process.Overall 6 or 7/10. May adjust in the future as I try more Asian food in Atlanta to reflect a different standard.

I got the tori shoyo, it was okay. - Noodles didn't have a good chewy texture- egg was good but a bit too sweet - pork wasn't tender - broth was fine, but flavor wasn't very rich / deepOverall service was good and our food came out pretty quick. Was okay to try it once, but probably wouldn't come again.

Ton Ton has small but, reliable selection of ramen options. With a limited options, it really allows them to master the dishes they serve. The Tori Shoyu and the Invincible Dan Dan Mazemen are two great options--one having broth and the latter being brothless.

We found this place as a happy accident and I'm so glad we did! We thought we were going into the sushi spot but after looking at the menu, we decided that a poke bowl was close enough. All of the food was fantastic! Definitely has a vintage kissa-ten style. We ordered japanese sausage, gyoza, chicken skewers, sake, and poke. All of it was a 10/10.

Went for lunch at Ton Ton and ordered the Tori Shoyu with no pork belly and no egg. The broth was extremely flavorful and delicious and was very filling. The bamboo shoots in the ramen were very interesting because I've never tasted anything like it before. Service was fine and there was no wait for food which was great. My only wish is that I wish they had more chicken and seafood options because I don't eat pork.

Have to stop in any time we are at ponce city market! Still some of the best ramen we've ever had. I love the flavors and the noodles are perfect cooked. It's truly authentic ramen - very filling. The broth is so good. This time we tried the Japanese meats - wow! The chicken was my favorite and seasoned so uniquely! We will be back next time we're in Atlanta!

Now this place right here can never do me no wrong. This was my first Ramen place I ever came to try Ramen the good kind and I fell in love. The menu is small but it's packed with so much flavor. My favorite thing to get here is the steam dumplings and crispy wings. They have so much flavor. I usually like to try the creamy broth Ramen or I'll go with a dry Ramen, which is really good to add extra noodles because they're so good and fluffy. I would definitely suggest you try this little spot out. It is located inside Ponce City Market. The service is also very good and always packed inside.

Ton Ton is an easy dining choice at Ponce City Market. Whether I am meeting someone for a business lunch or meeting a friend after work to explore PCM - Ton Ton serves as a versatile dining option that is easy to like. Both of my recent dining experiences at Ton Ton were positive. Both at lunch and during dinner, we were seated very quickly with no wait. The ambiance is quiet, intimate, and I appreciate the attempt of the izakaya style inside the small space at PCM. Service is very quick and straightforward and this process is made even easier by the fact that there's not that many food options to choose from so you'll be able to decide on your order quickly. In all the years I have been dining at Ton Ton, even before their relocation to PCM, I have always, always ordered their Invincible Dan Dan Mazemen: brothless, minced pork, soft-boiled egg, cucumbers, spicy soybeans, szechuan oil, scallions, and sesame seeds. This dish is Ton Ton's take on the traditional Dan Dan noodles, available at many Szechuan restaurants. All these years, I have yet to find many restaurants who execute this simple dish as great as Ton Ton does - everything about their rendition is fabulous, from the flavorful minced pork to the perfectly cooked egg. This is the one dish I will continue to come back for, time after time! Overall, Ton Ton is always a great dining experience. Of course I'd come back!
