Tommy's Pizza & Subs

Absolutely the best pizza, subs, and garlic knots in east county. The garlic knots are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Fresh, soft and doughy on the inside with a perfect crisp on the bottom. Fresh chunks of real garlic mixed with fresh grated parm. The Works Pizza was amazing as well. Great topping selection, crust was great, sauce was perfect; not too sweet and plenty of flavor. Not overly cheesy. The Italian torpedo had greta flavor, tons of meat and cheese, and a really delicious dressing on it. Bread was fresh. You can tell that everything is made with only the freshest ingredients and with all the love! We came at an off time so things were quiet and our order didn't take too long at all. I'm guessing it was the owner in the back cooking, and he was teaching the gal in the front. She was super friendly and chatty with my little girl who was with me. Very happy with our order and we will definitely be returning.

This place is a hidden gem. Everything we had was amazing. Tommy helped us out and he was so friendly and inviting. It's more of a grab and go type of place with not many tables but they do indeed have some seating. The pizza was delicious!!!!! I'm still dreaming about it. Perfect amount of cheese and thin crust. We also had a meatball and it was bomb!!! My husband got a cannoli to go and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic pizza and subs. I found Tommy's when I wanted some mom and pop style pizza, but didn't want one of the many pizza shops with "giant" in their name. The interior is small and humble. It's not some huge sit down restaurant. I ordered The Works pizza which was awesome! It was absolutely covered in toppings and the cheese was melty, hot, and delicious. I was really interested in trying the Italian Torpedo too, but I controlled myself and told myself another time. Well the next day, my wife and I finished a hike and wanted sandwiches. I said let's go try Tommy's sandwiches. We went in and ordered an Italian Torpedo and Italian Tuna Sandwich. The stuff in the sandwich was fresh and superb. The tuna was fresh and the Italian meats were flavorful. But what I want to highlight is the bread. The outer surface of the bread had a nice crunch, which is why I was really surprised how soft the rest of the bread was. It was excellent. I believe the bread was brushed with a little butter too? There was also some oil or dressing in the sandwich that had so much flavor. I highly recommend the pizza and sandwiches. This will be my go-to pizza joint when I want a supreme/combo pizza.

Fast delivery and high quality pizzas. After Grandstand pizza went down hill following the pandemic I was looking for a comparable pizza place and honestly, these guys might be better!

I came here to just to grab a quick bite to eat, and I must say...the service was great, the food was even better.I am most definitely coming back.

Food is amazing, 1st time had the hot Italian meatball sub. Called in on Weds as they have their 50% call in/pick up orders. Must call in and pick up only, did just that. Calculated exact change before hand just to be ready but I also brought an extra $10 just had a feeling it was to good to be true. Got to tommys to pick up, he was super polite told him I was there to pick up the meat ball sub. Sal told me to order over the phone next time it is cheaper, which I did just to get the 50%. He gave me a complexed look and nodded ok, ask what the damage was and to my surprise it was full price $12 and some change. Food is amazing, service and atmosphere is great. Just a little more attention to detail and honoring their specials.

Support Your Local Pizzeria.These guys stayed open for Christmas Eve so families can eat. Not only is their pizza great, it's affordable. Thanks fellas. You guys are definitely friends of ours now.

I love this place!! Normally i get a 2 slice combo with drink. They have my favorite soda (barqs rootbeer) as well as delicious knots and wings which i like to add on. Their pricing is 100% worth it and affordable. 10/10 pizza, 10/10 wings, 10/10 knots. definitely recommend coming here for your quick lunch or dinner. K LOVE THE DEALS THEY HAS AS WELL!!!

Best Philly cheese steak I've ever had. Highly recommend the owners very respectful and polite. Store is clean and tidy. Great place for a quick bite.
