Tokyo Japanese Steak House

I had fun here, but I also knew what I was in for! We were seated quickly with another group. Most of the groups here were kids and families and if you are in a small group you will likely have to sit with a family and kids. We didn't mind.I am gluten free and was grateful that the chef made my food first in order to prevent contamination! Unfortunately I wasn't able to have the miso, which is odd since miso is generally gluten free. But I appreciate their efforts and knowledge! The show of the meal is so fun. Our chef missed a few things, but overall out on an entertaining and interactive show for us. Lots of shrimp ended up on the floor, but we had fun! The ambiance is major lacking- all the decor has huge signage saying "do not touch" which ruins the aesthetic. The carpet is old and it needs a massive renovation. The lights are bright and the music that is playing has ads, but I was distracted by the hibachi and didn't mind. The food was flavorful and delicious! I loved my shrimp and fried rice and will be back soon!

I had a group event and we had to eat here and it was just as bland as the first time I ate her for such an expensive price. I can't really figure out why anybody eats here when there are so many restaurants in Woodville other than the concept is close to Benihana and there isn't a lot like it other than their sister restaurants in Bellevue and other locations.

No parking problem. There is a small waiting room where it states that they will charge 20% of service (tip). No matter if they sit you with another party as they use to or not. I guess because it reduces gas, operational, and staff (difficult to find chefs that perform this?) costs. And at the end it is nice to meet people :D It gets fun when the show starts and you have to eat flying zucchini :) Small servings were fine. Prices weren't that bad neither. Drinks weren't the best and neither was the price for them :S Service was a bit slow. Even the chef had to go back and bring some garlic we ask.

Came in last night with a group of 6 for my birthday and we had a blast! We made a reservation which is good because it was full on Saturday night. The servers and cooks are all so fun and nice. We started with sake bombs which is so fun to do. I see some people complaining about the price for what you get and I disagree. I think the price is pretty average but you're also getting entertainment and fun with dinner, it's an experience. We thought the food was great and big portions. They also sang to me and brought me out ice cream. We loved it and would come back.

The ambience of the Hibachi is very casual and a lot of areas are not the cleanest you can find. The service is pretty good, the chef is friendly and interactive. The food taste isn't bad, but not too good either. Overall the steakhouse is not a disappointment based on the options available in the nearby area.

Places like these are harder to find now a days. It's such a fun experience for the whole family. I would recommend getting a reservations tho on a Saturday night. We didn't and had to wait about an hour. It ended up being okay because my son was hungry enough to eat a lot by the time the chef was done cooking. Prices are more expensive but you're paying for entertainment. Worth going to.

Great experience at lunch. Quick friendly service with reasonable prices. It's not fancy, but it's fun :).

We came as a group and definitely had fun, the show with the flying eggs, big grill, the onion volcano etc is super fun to watch and our cook definitely gave a good show. We tried the steak and shrimps and all meals came with soup, salad and rice (fried rice is extra, but was really delicious). The food was good and their sauces are dynamite. I'd say the ambiance is older and could use a refresh. Overall, totally awesome if you got a great group going together, I'm not sure if I would do it as a couple.

The food here is still amazing but the service has gone way down hill, I don't mind paying an automatic 20% but I never got a refill on my drink, the owner who was serving has lost his passion. My friend asked for more napkins and was glared at for his request. Our dirty appetizer plates never got cleared and I felt like just being there was inconveniencing the server. If you are going to charge 20% automatically the service level should be high, much higher than it is.
