Toki Sushi Ramen

I've been exploring the Katy area for a little while now and I'm always finding new things and hidden gems. Toki is one of those hidden gems in my opinion. My friend and I were the only ones dining in at the time. The restaurant is small, clean and cozy. We ordered sushi and ramen. I ordered the salmon roll and spicy miso ramen. The sushi was fresh and the ramen was good! The broth of the ramen was so flavorful! I really enjoyed! Good service. We were offered a complimentary cream cheese eggroll..it was pretty tasty! The prefect sweet snack. I plan to return and try their tonkotsu ramen. Very pleased customers!

I really loved this place. Mostly because there weren't a lot of people. So peaceful. They have combo meals that I haven't seen at many places. Love the idea. You choose 3 rolls (I chose the tiger roll, Houston roll and crazy roll roll), one soup, and one salad. Fresh, tasty, and all around enjoyed my meal here. I was one of the only people in this restaurant, but there were a lot of people picking up. (Great sign) service was welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back again for dinner! 3 roll combo was $17.65. Way cheaper than getting one roll each. Typically, one roll can be anywhere from $8-$9 a roll in any sushi restaurant. Definitely worth the visit!

Friendly service, good sushi and ramen. I would return if I'm in the area.2 roll combo $12.95 (comes with miso soup or salad) Rock n roll (shrimp tempura, cucumber, spicy mayo, masago)Houston roll (salmon, tuna, white fish, avocado, masago) 5 big pieces each. Fish was fresh. Rice was cooked very well and didn't take up a lot of the roll. Salad was bigger than most places. We shared. Black garlic tonkatsu ramen $13.95 - bf got it spicy, but it wasn't spicy to us, kind of peppery/spicy only. It was good, but I can't imagine an entire bowl of it (strong flavor). I prefer the tonkatsu ramen.Tonkatsu ramen $12.95 - i got regular, and it was good. Might try spicy next time given that the other bowl wasn't really spicy. Not super rich in flavor, but good enough for me. I'm no ramen connoisseur. (I do like tiger den, jinya, ramen bar ichi, tamashi.)Ramen bowls come with a whole egg, 2 large thick pieces of chashu, corn, bamboo, fish cake, green onion, & cabbage. So it's priced well compared to some restaurants where you have to add everything. Came with a LOT of noodles, too - I shared mine with my bf.Complimentary cheese sticks were good. Reminded me of crab rangoons with the cream cheese filling. 10% off with yelp check in!

Calamari is very blandTakoyaki was okay. And I will say the rolls that where coated In the batter where also bland. I think it's just the batter. But over all everything was good. The place was very busy with only one waitress, so getting the food took a little longer and it all didn't come out at the same time. But I guess that's to be expected.

The ambiance is very cozy and small almost like a Chinese restaurant when we first enter. I wasn't expecting much from it since we were hungry and didn't want to drive into town to look for good ramen and sushi. I was very surprise that every dish we order was very good. The hot dog has a nice crisps on the skin. I would say is one of the best I had so far. The ramen did not disappoint either. The flavoring was just right not too salty. The sushi rice can be better but the fish quality was good. The service was outstanding. I would definitely come back when I'm too lazy to drive far for good food. Overall experience was great!!

Fast friendly service! The ramen is amazing, i usually order the tonkatsu and it has so much flavor. My favorite is also the takoyaki and they have a fried chicken sushi which is also amazing!! Ambiance is nice, small restaurant but not cramped. Definitely recommend this place as it lives up to its star ratings!!

Checked this Ramen place out during the week with a friend who lives in the Katy area. Tucked away in a small shopping center, easy to locate and ample parking. We were the only two dinning in during this time. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The ambiance was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We were offered complimentary cream cheese rolls that were fresh and crisp! I ordered avocado rolls for my appetizers 10/10 and their Tonkotsu ramen 8/10. The broth was delicious as well as all of the other toppings I didn't give it a 10/10 due to not liking their noodles. They weren't bad however I did not like the taste of them for some reason. The waitress was very attentive and friendly 10/10 for service.

I've only ever ordered sushi from this place, seen the dogs but was skeptical. Finally tried it today and they are damn good. The only complaint I had about my Akita dog was that the shrimp tempura was tiny. So it def didn't look as full like their picture. The filling was lacking. Maybe fry 4 shrimps together to make it more like a "weenie" shape and it would be so much better. It was just 2 shrimp tempura in it with the other fillings. Or maybe it was 1 long shrimp tempura, not sure. But I do know it was pretty skinny. Not as filling as their other dogs. Always enjoyed their sushi and appetizers. The stuffed jalapeño is a fav of ours. Def try this place out. If y'all could, improve the shrimp filling for the Akita dog.
