Tofu House is one of my absolute favorite spots for tofu soup, and there's one thing that sets it apart: the Bulgogi Tofu Soup with glass noodles. The combination of spicy and sweet flavors in the broth is simply irresistible. It's not too thick making it the perfect hangover soup. I love how they include generous portions of bulgogi meat and vegetables within the stew too. As an added bonus, they provide a complimentary egg and a variety of delicious side dishes (fishcake, radish, cucumber, and kimchi) When it comes to the noodles, the glass noodles really enhance the overall flavor of the soup. And the best part? Adding noodles to your order is just an extra $1. In terms of ambience, Tofu House has a decent atmosphere. I've never had to wait too long, although it can get quite crowded during peak hours.

I've been going here for years. They have really good Korean food. I either get the bulgogi hot stone or the bulgogi tofu soup. They both have great flavor. They provide appetizers as soon as you sit down at your table. The kimchi and spicy cucumbers are really good. They have great service. I was just there this week for dinner. Our server was very attentive. He kept checking on us to make sure we didn't need anything. I got there right after 5pm on Wednesday and it was not busy but it steadily got more busy. It's a fairly small restaurant.

Their boiled tofu is SO yummy! The service here is very fast - admittedly almost too fast it sort of feels like they want you in and out. I get it, the more folks the more money but you do feel somewhat rushed. That said the food is way worth it. Cute restaurant and aesthetic is enjoyable. It can get a little loud but nothing you wouldn't expect at a restaurant that is packed because it's that tasty! If you get the rice, make sure to stir it quickly so that it doesn't over cook in the hot plate. Learned that one the hard way

Tofu House hits the spot for comforting korean food on a rainy day! They don't have a super large menu but are most known for their combo of the Chef's Special boiled tofu soup and 4 different choices of meat. I visited on a rainy Saturday night and did not have to wait for a seat. The space is pretty small and could probably fit 50 people inside. On my last visit I got the H1 combo. The Chef's Special soup has a ton of seafood and you can pick your spice level, I like medium! It comes with a hot stone bulgogi. It's a good deal because those items separately would be $32 but the combo is $23. Both dishes come out PIPING hot and I like to cook the eggs in it right away. The hot stone stays hot for a long time and I feel like the rice gets burnt, which is the only downside. Food comes out pretty fast and can't complain about the service. It's a great option when I crave tofu stew. This location has the worst parking lot in Convoy so I definitely recommend parking on the side streets lol.

Been coming here for years, always a solid spot for Korean food! My favorite is the bulgogi hot stone pot but this time I tried the bulgogi boiled tofu soup ($15). It was flavorful and mild was still a bit spicy for me lol. I love the fish cakes and cucumber kimchi side dishes, and the service is always good. Parking can be difficult as usual

The side dishes were minimal and the fish cakes were slightly stale tasting? Not sure how fresh they make their sides. The tofu soup with bulgogi was subpar, if you have a high level of spice tolerance-- their "danger hot" option isn't that spicy. When asking for that option, I feel that it's okay to actually make it very spicy. What really saved our dinner was the hot stone bulgogi. I enjoyed the flavor of everything combined and felt that the "meat party" option was a good choice for us. Perhaps it was because we were starving at this point. The galbi did taste a little overcooked. Not worth the place at all. But, my favorite part is scraping off the burnt rice at the bottom and having it with the tofu soup. Would recommend having any hot stone dish that way. What truly docked my rating though was the service. Everyone we encountered-- from the host who seated us, the busser, and our server, were all very unpleasant. The host had us sit outside in the cold because one person in our party was running behind. Our server was gaining gratuity from our table (we were a party of 9) and I assume that's why he was so dismissive and not friendly whatsoever. He kept asking us "anything else?" in the most bothered way. Also! Our bill wasn't itemized! It was just the total price of the dinner? I couldn't believe it. I hate to be so negative, but it really dampened our dinner. In a place like Convoy, where there are so many Korean food options, they don't stick out. Even at Friends House, where it is twice as busy, we are treated so much better. Overall, wouldn't revisit this location again and I will be ordering my hot stone bulgogi someplace else!

Been here the last few months with some co-workers as it was suggested to me. The food is excellent and the service is rather quick even during the busy lunch hour. If you get one of the bowls you get a fresh egg that you crack and add to your steaming hot bowl and mix in and it gets cooked. Be careful as it's so hot you may have to wait a few minutes until it's cool enough to eat. Will be back for more! Get here like at 11:30 AM as parking can be challenging due to the many restaurants in this plaza.

Still one of my favorite place to get Korean kimchi tofu soup. It's basic and the spicy level has flavor and plenty of meat. I usually go for the beef. The banchan are basic too but they refill generously if you ask. We also like their combo, where you can get a small soup and some short ribs. The galbi ribs are good and flavorful, and come out sizzling hot. This location is better than the one in Mira Mesa! Parking is always bad but come early or look for street parking. Employees of other restaurants take up most parking spots. And watch out for bad drivers.

Hot stone rice: 1/5 First of all, the rice was not crispy, IT WAS BURNT. There's a picture attached here that shows just how blackened it really was. We asked the waiter about this and they simply said to mix it so it doesn't keep cooking, when it was already burnt! And it wasn't like we let it sit. We mixed the pot almost immediately after they served it. Disregarding the burnt rice, the flavor of the dish was not even that good. It was okay at best. And especially for the price of $17, this was an absolutely terrible experience. Vegetable tofu stew: 3/5 This was not bad. I definitely could have made it at home without the stone pot. And I might have been able to make it better. So the price ($15!) really did not match the quality or taste.

Food is passable but nothing great. Staff is rude and slow, and not very knowledgeable. Dirty bathrooms and kitchen opens to a gross alley.
