This place is totally a gem in Bellevue. I have been coming here multiple times since finding out about it and always left happy.Parking: can be hard to find on the weekend, but it is fairly easy to find parking nearby and walk a short distance to the store.Inside: the store is very small and has enough space for everyone to form a line to checkout the items in the fridge, hot items and checkout. The line moves very fast and is worth the wait! There is no dine-in space, but there are cutlery and napkin available so you can grab them when you checkout. The cutlery is on a shelf to your left after you checkout and ready to head out of the store, so don't forget to grab it.Food:Purple rice roll/Fan tuan: very affordable, there are lots of filling and the size of it is quite big. I couldn't finish it in one sitting. I love the crunchy Chinese donut inside the roll. Keep in mind if you can't finish it and save the rest for later, don't wait too long because the Chinese donut will join longer be crispy and it won't be as good.Soy milk and salty soy milk: both are tasty and warm, perfect for a cold morning.Braised pork rice: it is soo good, exactly what I expect for braised pork rice, it makes great comfort food.Chinese donut: they are huge and for a great price. I have tried the buns in the fridge (forgot which one) but they are quite good.Service: the staff is very quick to bring the soy milk or Chinese donut to you at checkout, I haven't have any issue when interacting with them.

Had fan tuan and loved it so I searched on Yelp to see if I can find them here. And stumbled upon Tofu101! It was a small, cute mart with lots of authentic Taiwanese options. It was pretty busy too. I got the fan Tuan, definitely American sized lol but LOVED IT!! It was so filling and so delicious. Will definitely come to get it again when I'm in the area. 10/10!!!

This place is a to-go only joint serving up a combination of ready-made Taiwanese comfort food, cold side dishes, and frozen dumplings. If you ever need a pick me up, this is definitely the place to go. While they might sell out of certain items in the morning, they constantly are pumping out fresh braised pork bowls and purple rice rolls, so if you're hoping to grab these you can come any time of day.Egg Custards (4.5/5): Unlike the Portuguese style version, Tofu 101 uses a almond shortbread for the crust and the crumbly texture works perfectly with the THICC, silky smooth custard. Not too sweet and huge, always a great choice.Braised Pork Rice (4.5/5): Super fatty, savory braised pork that melts in your mouth. The sauce and grease soaks into the rice, so every bite is super flavorful. A bit too heavy to finish by yourself, but delicious nonetheless.Purple Rice Roll (4.25/5): This has perfect combination of textures and flavors: chewy sticky rice, crunchy you tiao, tangy pickled mustard, and salty pork floss. A carby delight that's the best way to start the weekend.

I got the rice covered meat balls--delicious with some water chestnuts inside; the savory soy soup--delicate yet flavorful; and the tofu skins. So yummy!

I wish there were more asian delicatessens like this in Seattle! Tofu 101 is a small Taiwanese shop that offers affordable snacks, meals, desserts, and drinks. I got the pork cabbage buns, braised pork rice (lu rou fan), and a matcha tofu pudding, which in total ended up being around $23. The pork baos were big and meaty. The buns did come refrigerated though so something to be aware of if you are trying to eat right away. The lu rou fan was savory and flavorful. Matcha pudding was meh: not much matcha flavor and texture wasn't the best. All in all, really great affordable shop that offers authentic taiwanese food that I am definitely revisiting!

God bless Tofu 101. It is a godsend frrr. The frozen homemade dumplings, fan tuan, hot soy milk, and huge ass egg tarts are to die for. If it wasn't so far from me I'd be making a trip here like it's my local grocery store. I always stop by here on my way to Mt. Rainier and enjoy the experience of eating a warm purple sticky rice burrito and hot soy milk together. Then you go on the hike and have your custards at the top -- ughhhh yes.

Note: not a sit in restaurantThis place sells a variety of homemade dishes including frozen dumplings, fresh soy milk, Taiwanese rice bowls, etc. Do note that they are open until they sell out so try to get there before lunch to make sure they have stock in what you want. Everything tastes homemade and authentic. Highly recommend!

A cute little shop in a busy parking lot! Got the pork and rice, fan tuan, and egg tart.Pork and rice = not too salty, good meat to rice ratio, tasty egg and braised tofu. Worth it for the amount you get here!Fan tuan = great contrast in textures and I just really love pork floss because I can't bring myself to buy a large jar at the storeEgg tart = $9.75 for three seems a little steep. These egg tarts are pretty huge though! The crust is crumbly and buttery and the custard has a silly texture. Tastes pretty indulgent and would go great with hot tea!Looking forward to try some of their tofu pudding and other soybean products in the future!

Been wanting to try this spot because of their fan tuan and finally made it out. They mentioned it was going to be a 30min wait but I think they were ready quicker. I would recommend coming to grab one for breakfast or lunch! It was a bit saltier to my liking so if they did more pickled mustard greens and less pork floss that would have been ideal for me! A healthy serving for the price too Added on the egg tarts while I was there since they looked tasty. They are big, thicc bois tho lol. I never had egg tarts so deep but I enjoyed the custard flavor. The crust wasn't the flaky kind but I didn't mind. Also grabbed the savory soy milk. It was like curdled soy milk or broken up tofu with savory toppings. More like a soup but also extremely tasty. def would eat here again

Easy. Affordable. Delicious. What more could you ask for?I really liked that there was a great mix of frozen and ready to eat foods. Also, I just want to mention, a pack of spicy pig ears here was $5 here compared to $12 at Asian Family Market for the same price!
