The Grilled Pork Banh Mi was super delicious! The green sauce they add to the sandwiches and bowls really makes the dish. The portions were overall very generous. The bubble tea was good but the food stood out to me more. I went on a busy day and the wait was pretty long but this location is new so hopefully this improves with time. Love that this location has an ample amount of parking! I'll be back to try their other items soon.

$11+ for a chicken bahn mi that was pretty average. The chicken almost tasted a bit curried and was not the same as your traditional banh mi sandwich. Could be better and cheaper...

I came here with friends around 30 minutes before closing time. There's not a ton of seating though I did like how there were booths and counters to sit in. The place shares parking with restaurants such as Shin Sung and UnderGround Kitchen, which can get full during Friday nights like for this trip.I got the imperial city house special banh mi, which comes with a fried egg and a choice of two meats (you could choose among pork, chicken and beef). I chose prok and beef for this combo. I would normally go for just grilled pork but this combination fits! The whole banh mi tasted awesome and there was plenty of meat inside. Quality is up there compared to those offered in the Seattle area, so I'm very happy there's a banh mi place in Federal Way now!I would definitely come here again to most likely get the same thing since it was sooooo good!

Cute pop up banh mi shop! I came the day before their grand opening. It wasn't too busy when i came but busy enough where most of the tables were filled. I ordered their ham combo and the bbq pork and tried their Viet coffee. **Disclaimer** I'm a banh mi lover girl so... Their sandwiches were SO GOOOOD. Very flavorful, the bread was soft, a bit of crunch but not to where it cuts your mouth. The veggies were super fresh and the flavor of the pate really pulled everything together. The sandwiches are a bit on the pricer side about $8, but that might be the average price now and days. I was not much of a fan of their Vietnamese coffee. I don't know what it was but it did not taste authentic. There was an after taste and I could not put my finger on it. Over all, I had a nice experience, and I would come back for more sandwhiches!

Ambiance : 10/10 Service : 10/10 Food : 8.5/10 First time trying a new banh mi restaurant by Federal Way. The place is very specious and clean. The decor is very unique. They have this wall of banh mi which is cool. Also, we ordered two drinks. They have a very colorful drink menu. We ordered Fruit Tea (jasmine tea). I choose Mango Fruit Tea with lychee jelly. Another drink was Thai Tea. Staff were super friendly. Service was great! Staff said all tea was homemade. Took about 2 hours to make. Mango fruit tea was a 8/10 for me which they use mango puree. With the lychee jelly, it was good. Thai Tea was 9/10. Tea was good. It was brew every nicely and mix with the milk gave it a creamy texture. We ordered two banh mi sandwiches.#1 - Grilled Pork #2 - Grilled chicken Veggies are good but not sour enough. Would prefer a bit sour for the daikon and carrot. For #1, the grilled pork was flavorful and #2, the chicken was good, flavor was there. It was the combination of the meat with the sauce which was a good combo. The bread was nice and fluffy which made the sandwiches Overall, it was good and will come back for more. Definitely recommendation for a grab and go sandwiches.

Checked out their soft opening before their grand opening. Cute shop with cute designs. It's almost like a vietnamese Chipotle with good drinks. I got the Notre Dame (Grilled Chicken) banh mi. Full stuffed toasted banh mi. I inhaled the whole sandwich. I would say it's the best chicken banh mi I've had so far. It had a good curry flavor and was juicy. A little messy with the juices dripping and bread crumbs. The bread was toasted and not to a point where it cuts the roof of your mouth. The banh mi does lack structure and is crumbly. I got to try the kumquat and basil tea. I normally ask for less sweetness but it was the perfect sweetness as it was. Very refreshing. I tried my friend's rice bowl. She got the special that comes with an egg and 2 choices of protein. She got beef and pork. The pork is like your typical vietnamese grilled pork. The beef had a good flavor that I couldn't pinpoint what it was. They're both a bit dry. The cilantro aioli was pretty good.I went again during their grand opening and got a rice bowl and won another one. They ran out of white rice so I got brown rice. It wasn't too bad with it. The tofu was pretty good. It tasted like homemade lemongrass.

By far the best banh mi in federal way. The bread was crisped on the outside but soft in the inside with the perfect ration of ingredients of your choice. The staff were all nice and friendly. Good ambiance and nice choices of decor, very clean and organized. I'll definitely be back to try the banh mi bowls and boba drinks.

Drink: The strawberry cheesecake was good, I like how you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. Food: My favorite is the grilled pork sandwich, the banh mi was soft on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, so it was easy to bite into. They also added pate and their special sauce, making the banh mi very moist and flavorful. They also gave a lot of veggies, so I didn't even have to order extra toppings.Service: Even though it was during grand opening and they were super busy, the staffs were still very friendly and trying their best. I like that the place was bright and clean looking, overall definitely coming back for more.

We wanted to try this new place out! Upon walking in, we were greeted very quickly by 3 very nice workers! Food: The bahn mi was perfect! We got the imperial city bahn mi which allows us to choose two meats. I got Tofu/Grilled pork, and my bf got the Beef/Grilled pork. The veggies are loaded in these! I love that the most. The pate wasn't too much. Out of all the meats my favorite with the Tofu and beef! The imperial comes with a cooked egg, which I wish was runny. They also have rice plates, it looks good, I'll try next time.Drinks: the Vietnamese coffee is good for people who want COFFEE! You know. The tapioca was a great mix between chewy and soft! Thai tea was pretty good. Can't wait when they have a bigger drink menu. Suggestions: Option to have your egg cooked a certain way (Sunny side up, or fully cooked) because if it was runny yoke this would've made a 10/10 to a 11/10 The packaging was SO cute but it was a little hard to eat with everything falling in the bag. This is also such a calming place, if you had board games out for your customers to play, it would make it the best cafe/get together place.Altogether: 10/10, would come here again for the bahn mi's. Don't stop loading the veggies! Most places skimp out on that.
