Let me tell you the food was something I recommend! -The buffalo chicken dip egg rolls were crispy and full of flavor.-the barría grilled cheese caught my eye and definitely satisfied my taste buds. Juicy , season good , filling sandwich!! The bar side I sat was surrounded by good people and the bar tenders were interactive and fun! Would recommend if you have no plans or want some good food for a slow(or busy) day

Pretty good sports bar with more TV's than you could ask for. Watched my Mavs get blown out of the water here, but the food was decent and the drink selection is broad. Only improvement I'd suggest is investing in a few larger screens rather than 70+ smaller screens. There's more than a few seating spots where you can't catch a good viewing angle without cranking your neck. If the back wall screens were larger you could avoid this problem.Overall the atmosphere was great, the place was packed for the playoffs which made service a bit slower but that's to be expected. Will be coming back.

A reasonable option for happy hour in Streeterville. Very comfortable mid-range bar vibe. Expect to sit among a mix of people who work at the hospital and tourists staying at one of the many hotels nearby. Expect sports on a screen in front of you no matter where you're sitting.Apps are okay if you want deep-fried things. Not awesome. The best thing we had was the deep-fried pickles. Probably wouldn't order any other apps again.The Four Roses old fashioned is what shines here and why we'll likely be back at some point.

If you are looking for an authentic Irish bar in Chicago, look no further than Timothy O'Toole. The vibe was so fun and lively! We went during St. Patty's weekend and it was very exciting. We had beers and the appetizer platter which I highly recommend! It was only $30 that comes with the best appetizer in one dish!In terms of service, we had a very nice and patient waiter even with all the chaos happening at the pub.

I am declaring Timothy O'Toole's the best sports bar in Streeterville! I've been here a handful of times over the years and it never disappoints. It is a large, loud, barroom, with lots of tv's. My wife and stopped-in most recently on Friday December 29th. We were in the area and looking for a good place to catch the Purdue men's basketball game. O'Toole's is located in the basement of 622 N Fairbanks. We headed down the stairs (which are a bit steep) - and the place was packed. We were lucky to find two open seats at the bar. I had BBQ Wings, and my wife had the Michigan Wrap with fries. We split a cup of French Onion Soup. Everything was tasty, and paired well with a Purdue victory! Service was quick and professional. Prices are in-line with other similar restaurants in the area. Timothy O'Toole's is always solid. I recommend it if you are in the area and looking for a place to catch a game.

It's a sports bar so nothing fancy but there are plenty of TVs. They have a decent sized menu and service is good. That being said, the food we ordered was either good or just okay. My husband said the chicken wrap was fine. The jumbo pretzel was good but in contrast the mac n cheese was more butter than cheese and just kind of bland. Beers were fine as well. Despite that, the seating area is spacious and we enjoyed our time.

My girlfriend and I came in to watch the Bears Hall of Fame game and to have drinks and dinner. It was bustling, but it did not appear to be overly busy. We found a spot at the bar and ordered a beer and a cocktail. As the bartender delivered the drinks, I told her that we would like some chips & salsa for a starter (we were looking forward to sharing a burger and fish & chips). The bartender then disappears. After ten minutes we asked the other bartender about the chips & salsa, understanding that it is not a difficult order to fill. The other bartender begins investigating, and it appears that the order was never entered. At the fifteen minute mark the original bartender returns. She reeks of marijuana and offers us a sheepish look which suggested that she forgot to enter our appetizer order. At this point we paid for our drinks and left. It was disappointing: the television setup was perfect to watch the game, the place had a lively vibe, and the menu looked great. I really wish our experience had been better here.

I came to Timmy O'Toole's twice recently and had a positive experience each time. The first time I ordered the Grown Up Grilled Cheese, and although simple, it was delicious.The second time I wanted to order it again, but it left the menu. So I instead ordered the Birria Grilled Cheese, which was okay, but not my favorite.I also tried the buffalo wings and they were quite good.Timmy O Tooles is a great sports bar to watch a game, there are a ton of TVs. I imagine this would be a prime spot during March Madness.

Great local sports bar, plenty of seating, tvs to watch whatever you wish, and plenty of great food options. The burger I ordered with pork belly was delicious...but I wish I brought more of an appetite to eat because it was huge and couldn't finish it. Still hit the spot though. Appetizers were very filling and delicious. The group I was with all enjoyed ourselves.

We went in to watch a baseball game. I liked having the tv right at our table. I had the Speakeasy burger and my other half had the fish and chips. We also ordered the onion rings appetizer. We have no complaints. All the food was delicious and we had really good service.
