Time and Materials Taphouse

This is a cool new spot, on State Street near other neat bars and lots of new apartments. It is a taproom so they have about 20 beers on tap. Good selection of popular and tasty brews.Staff was very friendly but with only one waitress, the service can be light. We first ordered beers, and fried green beans, a popular starter. Well worth the good reviews, the fried green beans are awesome and have a tasty creamy dill dipping sauce.The menu doesn't have a lot of options but the choice is made we're all good, appreciate the healthy options as well as a couple of handheld's for those looking for more.I had the berry salad which was a nice entrée-sized salad. My companion had the pear tart and was blown away, he loved the tart itself as well as the balsamic drizzle. The ingredients seem high quality and the prices were definitely fair.There is seating on the main floor at the bar, as well as tables along a banquette. There is also seating in an open mezzanine. There is only one bathroom, which seems like it could be a problem over time, after all this is a drinking establishment. The Bathroom is really, really nice, which is appreciated. The space is bright and beautiful with soaring windows and striking architectural elements. But all the surfaces are hard and just having a couple of people speak pretty loudly quickly turned into a cacophony. They will probably have to put up panels to absorb some of the sound, in the future.

Happy hour can be hit or miss in this town, but Time & Materials has a great one, and I am thrilled to have a new place to go when I'm craving that after-work libation. It's one of the only places that I've seen have a vinho verde on the menu, and that's all I needed. That, plus the green bean fries and the patatas bravas were all I needed to have a TGIF moment. It's a fairly limited menu, even during regular hours, but that doesn't mean the food or beverage options are poor. I'd love to go back and try a few more things on the menu....any takers?! The atmosphere is modern and chic, and while the place isn't enormous, it feels like a big, light, airy atrium. Service was great, parking less so, but I'm glad to see that area of the neighborhood developing a bit and having more options for a cocktail and a bit of nosh. Looking forward to my next trip there!

I love this option that T&M is offering Bellingham: upscale chic without being stuffy... you'll fit in whatever you're wearing and also get fantastic eats (I ate all my green bean fries but then was forced by my full tummy to save half of my Cubano sandwich for leftovers the next day!) plus they offer a fantastic assortment of drink options (we went with wine for our lunch but the beer selection is extensive) so go check it out! Also love that it's within walking/biking distance of most locations in Bellingham!

Two visits in, I'm sold. First time, a friend and I stopped for brews. Great selection, Lew and company took care of us. Second time, my son and I stopped in after pickleball. Busy! We got the last downstairs table. Super prompt and personable service, good brew selection, green bean dish and a fries dish both top shelf (note - you MUST be a garlic fan to order the fries - vampires beware!). Downside here is finding parking. A neighborhood problem, but it's worth the effort. Stop in, you'll enjoy!

Wow! This was such a perfect evening out. The food was amazing (arugula, feta, fig salad, crispy eggplant and smoked salmon toast -all beautifully plated), cocktails interesting (try an 'Imperfect Man') and the service impeccable. We enjoyed a leisurely game of cribbage in this bright, beautiful space. Can't wait to come back!

Stopped by to check out the space and found it hip and inviting. Had a cider and the Mezze board which for the first time ever anyplace had plenty of pita to go with all the good stuff. Why is it that most places short you on the bread? Lots of Mediterranean inspired food on the menu so its worth checking out. Fun place to grab a drink and talk with your friends.

Yummy! We shared the meatballs and tzatziki & chips. Perfect little sharable for date night. Attentive and kind staff. Open and airy space, white walls, wood beams, greenery, chill music.

Great drinks, food, and service. I tried their peach tea bourbon(featured drink). Was very refreshing and delicious. If you like old fashions they make a very good one. Pleasantly surprised about the variety and taste of their menu. I can recommend the BURRATA BALL, SMOKED SALMON BITES, and the FETA BITES. Highly recommend. If you prefer beer or cider they have a nice selection. Tyler, our waiter, provided excellent service. We sat out on the back patio which was very comfortable.

This place is great! There's a good variety of places to sit since they have an outdoor area and a upstairs area inside so each visit can feel different! The service was great even when it seemed a little busy so I always felt welcome and that they cared about me. The food and drinks were good, if you like your drinks a little on the strong side.
