Tilly Bagel Shop

Might just be the best bagel in the midwest!Although I was tempted to try the lollapalooza weekend special pink pony bagel, I opted for a savory bagel as garlic rosemary with sun-dried tomato (seasonal) cream cheese, This was a phenomenal combination and taste overall. Sourdough based bagel almost tastes like focaccia and great ratio of cream cheese. Cold brew taste itself is okay but specifically love that they have milk and syrups (variety of options) available at the counter to pour in yourself as free add-ins rather than all these extra fees. Service was extremely quick for how packed it was on a Saturday morning. I was in a rush and was nervous about ordering, but did not take much time at all. Cold brew came out right away and bagel was just around 5 minutes.

Came here for lunch during the weekday around 12. They have all the selections still which I appreciated and line was not long as all. I got a bacon egg and cheese on everything. It was good but not the best I've ever had. my coworkers got a lox and a veggie and enjoyed both but none of us thought they were stellar. I also ended up ordering a half dozen for home to have in the morning so I am excited to try with just cream cheese to determine if I really like the bagel itself.

I'm such a fiend for anything sourdough, so when I heard that this ƖıƖ spot was opening in South Loop, I was stocked! Their options are very unique compared to other bagel shops I've visited in Chicago. The flavors are unlike anything I've come across. From a cacio e pepe bagel to a French onion soup, there is something for everyone. And if you love sourdough, you'll definitely taste the difference in these bagels!I always ordered a lox as a basic starter at new bagel places because it's a great way to taste bagels at a baseline, but I also can never get sick of lox. They stuffed this baby well! It was super tasty and fresh.They have limited space so be cautious when going in a busier day. Staff is very friendly and willing to help you out with any questions. Safe to say, I'll be back.

Their bagels are so yummy, and the employees were very nice even though it was busy. Service was quick and we were waiting in line & got our food in about 10 mins. If you need help, I liked the chorizo egg and cheese much better than the sausage!!

happy 1 year Tilly's!!! i had just moved in to my apt in south loop when Tilly's opened last year and it's def been the food i've raved about the most in this area, breakfast or otherwise. im moving out of south loop this weekend and had to finally try a breakfast sandwich before i left the area for good ;( - and it was DELICIOUS! i got the crispy potato on a garlic rosemary bagel w/ jalapeño cream cheese. the cream cheese was also delicious. my moms visiting and as an ex-east coaster and current cali resident, she approved this bagel and commented on how you can't find anything like this on the west coast. service was fast and friendly like usual and the line went really fast. i will miss how close I am to this bagel shop once i move but will undoubtedly be back. PLEASE come here - you have to try these bagels !!

I've been to Tilly Bagel Shop twice. The first time, I ordered the lox bagel sandwich which I thought was just okay. From what I remember, it was mostly just cream cheese and a few pieces of lox. I ordered the chorizo and egg bagel sandwich last weekend which was really delicious, particularly on the cacio e pepe bagel. I took off one star because despite ordering online and showing up a few minutes after the pick up time, I had to wait another 20 minutes for my order. In the future, I probably wouldn't come here after 9AM on a weekend day, but any other day that I'm looking for a morning bagel, I would come back to try the other flavors.

The bagels at Tilly are quite simply PERFECT to me. I've been here twice now; on Saturday's there tends to be a little line out the door (mainly because they try and keep the inside from getting too crammed) but the system is well orchestrated and organized so it moves super quickly! At 8:30ish on a Saturday there were only a few people in front of us. They have a few tables inside but the space isn't really conducive to a bunch of people eating in. The texture of the bagels here are unlike any other bagel I've ever had in the best way - so airy and fresh! The tomato grilled cheese bagel was outstanding, and i don't think you could go wrong with anything here. We both got the pickled veggie cream cheese which is seasonal and was sooo good! I will absolutely go out of my way to come back here!!

So so delicious, they make bagels in house and come out with a new flavor of the week, which always looks so yummy. Highly recommend getting there in the morning if you want one of the more specialty bagels as they do sells out by the end of the day. I had a Lox sandwich on a garlic rosemary bagel with bacon and chive cream cheese and it was the perfect treat to split between 2 people. I also tried a blueberry bagel with honey vanilla cream cheese and that was also good but it's hard to top the Lox.

I ordered online and it estimated 35 mins for pick up. I showed up thinking I would have to wait but it was ready and waiting on the carry out shelf!The staff was friendly and the space was bright and clean.I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a garlic rosemary bagel. I opted out of cream cheese just as a preference. The bagel is very flavorful. The outside is crisp and the inside is fluffy as a fresh bagel should be. I would definitely return and try more options as the turkey sandwich bagel and the chorizo and crispy potato sounded really good!If you're near by, do not hesitate to grab one of these bagels as the perfect on-the-go breakfast!

amazing please make the olive and zaatar bagel a part of the regular selection. possibly one of the best bagels i've have in a long time.
