Ordered takeout: Veg dishes: Felt like these were both left on simmer for a bit longer than desired. Daal Makhani- (mild) creamy, a bit bland. 3/5 Baingan Bharta (mild) Not bad, would prefer soft chunks of eggplant. 4/5Omnivores:Lamb Saag- (medium) decent. Would prefer more meat. Saag was a bit more brown than used to, but taste was pretty good. There wasn't much spice in here. 4/5Tikka masala- (medium) runny sauce, not flavorful, pretty tomato acidic. All filled with dry chicken breast meat, probably wouldn't get again. 1/5

Unfortunately I didn't take any pics but the food was delicious. My favorite dish was the vegetable biryani. There were good cuts of veggies (zucchini, carrots, potato, cauliflower and more). I heard the mango lassi was delicious too. Service was great. The gentleman working was very nice. Will have to come back and try otherfnm

This place catered dinner for an event in the IKEA Renton performing arts center on the 16th of April. The catering had one veg item and two non veg items - mutton biriyani and chicken rezala. We had ordered the non-veg items. Where should I start about how horrible the service and food was. The food was cold and we were among the first in line to be served. The biriyani was extremely dry and tasteless. The chicken rezala was floating in oil and served with cold chapatti. Probably the only thing worth eating was the single Gulab jamun that came with each of theses dishes. We paid $20 for the biriyani and $18 for the rezala - a complete waste of money. After this catering experience I am never going to visit this restaurant ever again.

Ordered these dishes for take out:Daal Makhani- (mild) This was quite a red version than the usual brown color. Taste wise, this is a more blander version in terms of non chili spices, should try this on medium. 3/5Baingan Bharta (mild) Pretty good preparation, this is quite a sweet version than usual. 4/5Rice- there was a bit of an odd after taste, and a bit chewier than expected. 2/5

Underwhelming sums up my experience tonight. Tikka Masala is close to the Lake Hills QFC. The restaurant has a small parking lot, which it shares with a Pakistani food truck. It's located just south of the Shell gas station but the parking lots do not connect. I ordered chicken tikka masala, fish coconut curry, and pain naan. I was especially keen to try their namesake dish, and love fish coconut curry which my go-to (India Gate) no longer seems to offer. Unfortunately when I picked it up, they had made shrimp coconut curry by mistake. I didn't want to waste the food so I took it as is. Overall the food lacked the depth and complexity that I love so much in Indian food. The tikka masala is okay and I appreciate the bite-sized chunks of chicken, but the chicken was dry. The rice was unseasoned. The coconut curry is creamy and tasty, but lacks depth. It tastes like straight up coconut milk and cashews. One of the shrimp tails was left on by mistake. The naan was packaged in a paper bag. At first I really liked that because it didn't get soggy, but then I realized it dried out quickly. It did nicely to sop up the curries, though. I may try again when I really want a fish coconut curry and give them a second chance, but I'll probably stick with India Gate as my favorite Indian restaurant in the immediate area.

We've been going to this restaurant for many years, mostly while they were located on Gilman Blvd in Issaquah. The food was consistently excellent along with great service and ambiance. We were so sad when they closed due to Covid but happy to hear they had relocated to Bellevue; still close enough for us to go and enjoy their cuisine. Sure hope they reopen the Bellevue location before too long!

I got the butter chicken to go. It was flavorful and the chicken was really soft. They also had good sized portions, so I have food left over for work tomorrow! They had awesome service and the man that I spoke to was so nice. I would definitely go back.
