Best Mexican food in Monroe. excellent service as well. Highly recommend ceviche and chicken enchiladas.

Martha is amazing. Food was OUTSTANDING. I got the Al pastor tacos and they were some of the best I've had in this country... I'm not kidding. Please come here and enjoy the best service from Martha and the best warm chips, amazing queso, and best Al pastor. You won't be sorry!!!

My wife and I met a couple friends here for Taco Tuesday.Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. On Tuesday's, hard shell ground beef or chicken tacos are $1. Soft shell ground beef or chicken tacos are $1.50.Sadly, Tijuana does not have a lounge. The family seating area is small.Complimentary chips and salsa are offered. The chips were thick, hard and cold. The salsa was flavorless. For me, the chips and salsa are the best part of a Mexican restaurant. Deal breaker here.Pints of Dos Equis draft beer were $6 each. Our beer was served on the warm side so we opted for a bottle of Modelo for $4.25 for our next round. The bottled beer is much colder than the draft beer. My preference is draft over bottled.I ordered two crunchy ground beef tacos during Taco Tuesday. The shell was the same texture and flavor as the awful tortilla chips. My tacos consisted mainly of lettuce with minimal ground beef. Unsatisfying.My wife and I shared a side order of Refried Beans for $3.95. We both liked the beans and were thankful we ordered them or else we would have left Tijuana hungry.Our server was friendly enough, nothing spectacular or memorable.Overall, my wife and I will not return to Tijuana in the future on our own accord and hope that our friends do not choose this place in the future for our monthly Taco Tuesday meets.

Lived here more than 6 years now and finally got around to trying Tijuana. We ordered delivery/takeout so can't speak to the interior of the restaurant but very pleased with our meal. Super flavorful enchilada, the flauta was nice and crisp, the chips were warm and the salsa was spicy (in a good way). They did give me black beans instead of refried but not a big deal to me. This completes our tour of local Mexican restaurants and I'm going to have to put it in my top 2. There are several sit-down Mexican options in Monroe for those unaware. We will definitely be back.

Random Friday date night was a success here! We searched a few different places in Monroe and decided on Mexican food, and this place did not disappoint! It's a cute restaurant with great interior details and homey, cozy vibes. They make fresh corn tortillas on the griddle in one corner, and cook in the back corner, giving a homey and cozy vibe. We had the Martharita and the fresh lime margarita, with pollo chipotle and pollo a la crema, both with fresh corn tortillas. All of the food was amazing, including the house pico de gallo. It was on the spicier side but the sweet Martharita balanced the spice well. We left with full bellies and happy minds! Parking: We easily found street parking a few doors from the restaurant, but there's a chance it might be difficult to get parking during peak hours. Overall, I would return for more. Happy eating!

Plenty of street parking at this unassuming little place. It's bigger on the inside! Great service and great food with fair prices. Good kids meal selection also. We ordered the taquitos, nuggets, and beef taco. Generous portions with enough to take home. Would recommend for a family visit!

The salsa was fantastic and they gave more than most restaurants. The menu selection was good and most importantly, service and food was tasty. I really like the unique options too. They have tables and booths. The interior could be cleaner but it wasn't nasty.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Monroe, the food is hot and delicious. Highly recommend giving it a try.

We use to call this our go to... not anymore!! the last two time will be the last!! Salsa was watered down, I ordered the chimichanga it was just barely warm, my husband ordered the steak fajita. when it came to the table... not only did it smell burnt but the meat was burnt!! Very disappointed !!! The bill was $58.00 oh ya, one soda was included in this price.

They used to make great margaritas, but no more. Food has gone down as well. 3 stars probably generous.
