One of the best tacos I've had in Washington. I come from SoCal and have a spot I frequented in the Valley. This one compares to their pastor and tripa which are what I got. Payment isn't taken until the end, and the cashier didn't have the list of what we got which is a bit inefficient since she had to ask us and figure out the price for each one while she looks at the menu hanging on the wall. It would be better if they directed us to pay after we placed our order and gave a copy of what we ordered with the price listed. They have several tables inside. It's also connected to a store which is convenient if you'd like to take a look and walk around while waiting.

Heard many good things about this place so I had to come and try it out for myself! Will be a little more harsh as I come from LA after living there for 8+ years.Let's talk about the place. You can immediately see they have two al pastor and grill outside their store/restaurant so you'll not miss it. The place inside is relatively clean for a simple two-in-one store-restaurant front. However, we arrived close to 4:30pm on a Saturday. Their al-pastor burner is not turned on.... It's a warm sunny day out 80F... I don't know if this violates health/ safety codes..The price for their taco is relatively high at $3.50 each. Coming from LA where living expenses is high, usually you see $2/taco... or around $2.50-$3 on average in the Seattle region. Not sure why, but if you are here for the Quesabirria, it's labelled as Cheese Birria on their menu (idk why but definitely weird to me..)The bowl of birria I ordered is hot and full of spice. Flavorful consommé! So far the best tasting birria I've tried in Washington out of ~6 places. Taco on the other hand especially al pastor is lacking a little and dry (probably it's been sitting there for a while). The "salsa bar" is unlike what was shown on the page, some tiny kitchen sauce container with almost empty salsa and pickles. (I did not take a picture of it). As important as the meat itself, salsa is critical to the taco experience which I did not get the full experience out of it.Staffs are friendly and nice, but lacking English proficiency. I can totally understand not everyone's first language is English, so please be patient if you find yourself having to repeat your orders many times or they got your orders wrong (as they did to mine). Will probably come back and try it out once more for their quesabirria next time, but I can hardly find myself here as often as I'd like due to the higher than average price. A few tacos will set you back $20 easy...

Service was ok. You have to order up at the counter and that's if you can get their attention. Only the guy was helpful and women walked away.Taco of Carne asada was super salty, I almost spit it out. All the food was good, but the taco and enchilada were not since it had the salty carne asada.

There's not many places in Washington that "WOW" this California boy but this place here is the REAL DEAL. Some of the absolute BEST BIRRIA I've had including California this place competes with the best of them. The Birria consommé is so thick and flavorful and not like water like most other places. If you want REAL Mexican food this is the only place you should come to that you won't be disappointed by! Can't wait to come back here I go out of my way just to eat lunch here it makes my day better.

Incredible al pastor tacos tucked away in a Mexican convenient store. Fair prices, and the best adobado tacos I've had in the Seattle area. Their tripa is also incredible. Come on Fri - Sun where they have the al pastor on a spit and a salsa bar for customers as well.

This place rivals all. The food is the closest to Cali-Mex I've had here in Washington. The taco meats are delicious!

Best tacos I have had in a long time. Their salsa is amazing, AL pastor is amazing. Highly recommend. Would highly suggest knowing Spanish if you want a more complicated order.

Rumors had it that this is the best Al Pastor around, San Diego quality. It is so hidden tucked away in Renton Highlands that I would have never found it on my own if somebody didn't highly refer me here. It's a Mexican grocery store with a grill stand right in front, you place your order with homie that's slicing meat right off the spike, take the ticket to pay at the cashier inside. There's a few tables that you can take your tacos inside the grocery store to sit and eat. I believe 5 tacos came out to be $20, god I love street tacos. Saw a lady making homemade tortilla right in front also, this is the real deal. I think the food is only offered on weekends, but they do open until midnight which is plenty of time for me to run there after work since I always work weekends. I think they need to make an Instagram page so foodie friends can start tagging them and pass along the word of this hidden gem. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)
