Cozy place for traditional Chinese dishes. The food was alright and good value for the price. The pepper-salt fish was tasty and the chicken curry was also ok. I will come back at least a couple times to try more of the menu.Service was very fast and courteous, props to the servers and kitchen staff.Overall, I think this is a neat little place to eat in or take out from if you're in the area.

We ordered two types of noodle soup, braised beef and Lanzhou, both with hand shaved noodles and an egg. If I wanted a massive bowl of noodles and meat in broth, this was the place to go. I wish there was more to the bowls though, rather than seemingly bottomless noodles. Some vegetables, more toppings, maybe less cilantro? Maybe I should have used the sauces on the table? I'll hit up Tian Tian next time I just need to slurp noodles to feel better though.

I've lived in Redmond for a while and just decided to try this place recently - I don't know why I've waited so long! The food is delicious, and I find myself craving it often. I got the chongqing tofu and it is so perfectly crispy, and even as leftovers they warm up well in the airfryer. The mapo tofu is amazing as well. Both dishes have a nice level of Sichuan numbing spice without actually being spicy (I typically like spicier dishes, but this was good for my sister who doesn't like spicy dishes as much). They were flavorful and great. The ambiance is unassuming, but the food was prepared very quickly and service was prompt as well. One of my favorite restaurants in Redmond and I hope it's able to last with the construction!

One of the best Sichuanese around... We keep coming back to this place when craving for the tingly sichuan peppercorn sensation. We usually order Boiled Fish in Spicy Broth with Soft Tofu (水煮魚) and Dan Dan Noodles (坦々麺), along with Spicy Wontons, but felt bit adventurous this time to try some new dishes. So...We ordered Mapo Tofu, Sichuan Style Spicy & Crisp Squid, and Dry Fried Cabbage w/ Hot Chillies. They were amazing. We especially enjoyed squid - tender, thick, and well cooked crispy squid pieces with good amount of spice and string beans, and it may be one of our new fav's. My son (who is a spice geek) says they can turn up the heat a notch, but good enough to leave us a slight peppercorn tings on our lips. Mapo was good too, but cabbage was above and beyond our expectations. Large portions of savory stir fried cabbage (looked like they almost use a full head, lol)... mmm!

I walked in on a Sunday evening and was able to get a table easily. Someone had recommended this place because of their spicy wontons, so I was incredibly eager to check it out. My waitress was very kind and attentive. I ordered the Szechuan Spicy Wonton and Dan Dan Noodles. The wontons were really good. It's not very spicy, but it is very meaty and flavorful. The dish comes with 8 pieces, so it's a perfect option to share with someone else. The Dan Dan Noodles were a classic chili oil noodle. I found that this was overwhelmingly oily, but it was seasoned amazingly (remember to mix the noodles, meat and sauce up when you get the dish!)

On a chilly day, few things sound more comforting than a steaming bowl of noodles. This small restaurant may specialize in their handmade noodle dishes, but they also offer wontons, dumplings and a variety of traditional Chinese and Sichuan plates. At about 1:00PM, only a few tables were full, but this place was pretty busy with takeout orders. The employee at the counter handled everything but the cooking. She managed ordering, sorted & packed bags to go, bussed tables, answered phone calls and processed payments. Through all this, she was still so sweet and kindly answered a couple questions we had about the menu. We learned that the noodle dishes come with hand-pulled noodles, but you can opt for hand-shaven noodles for an extra $1.50.+ Shredded Pork w/ Garlic Sauce Noodles ($11.95): The hand-pulled noodles are addictive and have a nice bouncy texture to them. The dish's name didn't live up to the flavor though... I barely noticed any garlic. I'd call it more of a sweet and sour sauce with mild spice and pieces of pork and veggies. I enjoyed these noodles, but as someone who loves garlic, I was bummed. + Dan Dan Noodles ($11.95 + $1.50): We selected this with the hand-shaven noodles at extra cost which were worth the try. They included a whole container of their chili oil sauce for us to mix with the noodles ourselves, but we probably only used a third of it. If we used the whole thing, our noodles would be swimming in pure oil, like soup. I just wish it came with more minced pork. The pieces were miniscule and not plentiful at all. This had a pretty good heat, strong chili flavor and the thick chewy noodles provided more surface area for the sauce to cover. + Combination Chow Mein ($12.95): A good basic chow mein with chicken, shrimp and vegetables. The sauce had the right amount of saltiness, and the veggies (cabbage, carrot) were still a little crisp. + Pork and Scallion Dumplings ($10.95 for 12 pieces): These dumplings appeared to be genuinely homemade. The wrapper was on the thicker side and they had more ginger than I would have liked, but the meatball inside was moist, light and juicy. Overall, these were tasty and plump dumplings. + Szechuan Spicy Wontons ($9.95 for 8 pieces): This is going to sound strange, but we couldn't tell what type of meat these contained and it wasn't stated on the menu either. Maybe beef or pork, or a mix of both? The wonton wrapper was super thin and they were tossed in a chili oil with mild spice. Pricing is average for the serving sizes. Although we were impressed by the service, we found the food to be just alright. 3.25 stars.

Terrible, mostly inedible, food. Why? With so many options around. We walked out hungry. * String beans were good, and the only thing we actually ate. * Braised spare ribs were inedible. 0/10 Do not recommend. Calling it overcooked would be generous. They were so dry if was impossible to chew, and they tasted of stail oil. (Were they deep fried first?) I am not even sure how one could cook meat to this level of dryness in liquid. * Salt & Pepper Chicken came heavily battered and deep fried, with the salt & pepper seasoning sat on top. Batter to meat ratio was 80/20, 80% batter. 1/10 Do not recommend.Overall, everyone walked out hungry. We didn't try the noodles. Perhaps that's a better experience. But with so many quality food options around, I won't be going back to try.

I have heard mixed reviews about Tian Tian Noodles, ranging from reliable to just-ok. They are near enough, that we decided to give them a chance. While they aren't fully Americanized, they are pretty close to being American Chinese food. Look at their "most popular dishes" list online, and it'll be obvious. Not a single dish stood out in a I-want-to-do-order-that-again or that the dish is best-in-class locally. They are simple and sort-of homey. If I live very nearby, I might go again. Unfortunately, other places closer to home serves more interesting Chinese food, so this will be a one-and-done visit. The service is cautiously tentative. They weren't in our face, and we flagged them down as needed. The interior is simple with little decorations. Most people seem to get take-outs; we were the only table dining in. Parking is street parking, which is plentiful. There are nearby free parking lots, too.The Food:正宗兰州牛肉拉面 Lanzhou Beef Lamian, $12.95 - 2.5 StarsWe chose the hand-shaved noodles. The beef is dull. It didn't have any memorable flavor. 素打卤面 Vegetarian Da-Lu Mein, $12.95 - 3.5 StarsThis was the most interesting dish out of the four we ordered. Sliced tofu, with a mixture of veggies, hand-shaved noodles in basically egg-drop soup. Curiously good, but not great. 猪肉大葱 Pork with Scallions Dumpling (12), $11.95 - 3 StarsThe dumplings were ok. The skin wasn't joyfully thin. It wasn't excessively doughy, either. The fillings are sufficient.九层塔茄子豆腐 Eggplant & Tofu with Fresh Basil, $13.95 - 2.5 StarsFried tofu, pieces of eggplant, a few lonesome pieces of basil leave. This dish had no personality and no basil flavor. None of the dishes is outright bad; they are simply basic. Their prices are reasonable.
