Vinegar black fungus and cucumbers to start. Sichuan spicy prawns and frog to finish. Love the numbing spicy mala flavors. Brings back so many great memories of living and dining on Chinese special dishes when living in China. Yay! Try it.

Decent Chinese restaurant with spacious sitting area. Staffs were helpful, food was served pretty fast for lunch time. We ordered Spicy beef noodles and braised pork with rice. I prefer the rice more though. Noodle portion was shareable just slightly salty. Maybe I'll try something else beside noodle next time.

Food was good but kinda pricey. I enjoyed the house special noodles, but the mango coconut milk drink was just ok.

I came here to send my friend off after college graduation. Man, this place was pretty interesting. I love the chairs here..Service was really good, but the food was extremely spicy. My mouth felt melted in spice and the complimentary rice was well needed. I think if my tolerance was higher I would come back. But I was disappointed by the lack of variety this restaurant had.If you love spicy Sichuanese food, come here. If not, go somewhere else

There is so much potential in this restaurant but unfortunately the food is not as good as I expected. The place is spacious and I really like the Chinese style interior. The service is decent and they never pressured up to leave even as it gets crowded. The food portions are very good as you get a lot for each dish. I just wish the food taste better. I ordered some typical Sichuan food such as the dry lot frog but somehow the food is just missing some necessary magic to taste right.I think the restaurant is missing some authentic Sichuan spices so the food just tastes bland. The frog dry pot has decent pieces of frogs but the breading is too much on the frogs and I think the frogs should have been fresh instead of frozen. The pork pieces are cut out a little too big to bring out the right flavor. The veggies are also cut too large. Overall it's an alright restaurant and worth going if you are in Seattle area but if you've had better Sichuan food before it's not worth coming here specifically.

Best Sichuan food in Seattle area. My parents (immigrants from China) said it's the most authentic Sichuanese food they've had in the US so that's how you know it's good!I haven't had a dish here that isn't great. Even their tomato and braised beef dish is amazing even though it's not spicy! I'll also say that the Northgate location is better than the Bellevue one.

If you want authentic Sichuan food, this is your spot. Spice levels can be very high. Prepare a ton of rice to supplement with. We snagged two takeout items and made rice. I'm heating up typing and remembering it. Hot & Spicy Dry Pot - we got this with frog legs. I'm not a fan of all the bones and minimal meat, but it's a classic. Frog tastes very much like chicken, and legs are comparable to wings. Extremely spicy, the dryness of the stir fry style doesn't help either!Braised Beef with Tofu - while relatively basic, the beef was very tender alongside an obviously fluffy tofu to be a light and easy pairing with anything. Two soft items that melt in one's mouth, paired with rice for additional texture, seems like a nice comfort food. Spicy but bearable.

Disappointing food. Not sure what the hype is about. I got beef and tofu fish. The beef was very heavy on the sauce and not spicy at all. It was a bit too salty. The fish was not good. Extremely oily and the some fish fillet carried that fishy taste that made me wanna spit it out. Very great service though.

A go to spot for authentic Chinese food! Highly recommend every soup on their menu (especially the pig trotter soup). Every dish on their menu that I've tried in my numerous trips here has been amazing (recommend salted egg yolk green beans and the house cured pork!)Their desserts also never miss (recommend the osmanthus blossom raindrop jelly!). Their service is always very friendly and service is very efficient with QR code ordering and the servers confirming your order. They also have a very spacious restaurant with very cool chairs.

Overall a yummy place to go if you're craving Szechuan food! Most of the dishes we ordered had a slight kick to it but it was a pleasant kind of spice. It lingered in the mouth and had me reaching for the water but didn't churn my stomach like certain spicy foods. We ordered the pork belly hot & spicy dry pot, cumin lamb stir fry, string beans, fried rice, fish with tofu in peppercorn broth among other things. Personally I wasn't a fan of the dry pot. It was a little dry, as maybe the name implied, and a bit salty. It wasn't bad but I preferred the cumin lamb to it which was flavorful and tender. The fried rice was not too salty and was good to balance out the strong flavors of the entrees we ordered. I really enjoyed the fish in broth. The fish was flaky and soft and the broth was rich. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and there weren't too many people in the restaurant. It was relatively quiet and the service was good.
