Tian Fu Chun Qiu

Rating: 4.5/5.0I was extremely sad when Spicy City, which my family and I lovingly nicknamed "the sunflower seed restaurant", closed. This Tian Fu location - with the same exact phone number and under the same ownership as that of the now-closed Spicy City - opened shortly thereafter. Lucky me!Since its grand opening, I have dined here many times and have tried the following dishes:- 脆皮猪肘 Tian Fu Crispy Pork Knuckle- 鸡翅麻辣香锅 Chicken Wings Hot and Spicy Dry Pot- 糖醋小排 Sweet and Sour Spareribs- 虾球炒饭 Shrimp Fried Rice- 扬州炒饭 Yang Zhou Fried Rice- 金汤鱼片 Fish Fillet in Hot and Sour Broth- 一品毛血旺 Imperial Chongqing Style Boiled Blood Curd- 豆花鱼片 Hot and Spicy Braised Fish with Tofu- 秘制干锅排骨 Hot and Spicy Spareribs on Hot GriddleAlthough you cannot go wrong with whatever dish(es) you decide to order at Tian Fu (it really is that good!), my favorite dish is the 一品毛血旺 Imperial Chongqing Style Boiled Blood Curd. I also recommend getting (1) the 金汤鱼片 Fish Fillet in Hot and Sour Broth instead of the 豆花鱼片 Hot and Spicy Braised Fish with Tofu and (2) the 扬州炒饭 Yang Zhou Fried Rice instead of the 虾球炒饭 Shrimp Fried Rice. Service is impeccable, and the ordering process is quick and easy. Got takeout twice from this place. They are busy every day of the week! The hot and spicy dry pot (vegetarian) is my absolute favorite! We asked for potatoes and that was an additional $2. It was burn my a** spicy. Will definitely go try some of the other items.

Near the Redmond Transit Center. Soft opening, not many people when we got there around 11:30 on a weekday, but as we were leaving, there was a line waiting. I hear during dinner it gets much busier. Easy to get to, but no dedicated parking spaces around. There's some street parking, but you might need to drive around a bit to find an open spot. Some people I hear park in the Park n Ride building. Don't know if that is allowed.Currently soft opening, and they are offering a complimentary 糖醋小排 Sweet and Sour Spareribs for each table. We also ordered 农家香香嘴 Country Stir-Fried with House smoked pig's snout, 酸豆角炒鸡胗Sautéed Chicken Gizzards with Pickled Long Beans, and 鱼香肉丝Sichuan Shredded Pork.The spareribs had a good flavor to it, but most of the pieces were a bit too dry and stringy. The pig snout was surprisingly good, give it a try. The shredded pork was excellent as well. Some might say it is a tad bit sweet, but I think it is a good balance to the other flavor and combined makes for a very savory dish. The chicken gizzards was okay. Probably wouldn't get it again, unless you're really into gizzards.They also seem to be pretty kid friendly. They have special dishes for kids, and also drawing tablets to keep them busy.Overall a good addition to the local food scene. Definitely prefer this location over the Factoria one. Will come back in the near future to try more of their dishes.

If you don't like reading review, just read this sentence: Do Not order Frog Dry Pot!I ordered three dishes. The best: fried rice 扬州炒饭. Below average: shredded potato 炒土豆丝. The shredding was very thick and the taste was lacking. The horrible: frog dry pot 田鸡干锅. It's been a while for me to have food so bad. The breading is thick, thick, thick, The frog meat is completely smashed and taste like McDonald's chicken nuggets. Majority of the pot are arm thick potato sticks and I can fill my stomach with only 2 of them. It should be renamed to Chinese chicken nuggets with marvel fries. I started complaining on my neighborhood WeChat while I was still eating. I immediately got many responses confirming the frog dry pot is the worst of all. Some recommended other dishes worth trying but it was too late :(. Ambiance is good until I went to the restroom. For some reason the remodeling stopped in front of the restroom door. Inside was not good.

Great food and very helpful service. Helped to pack up leftovers and saran wrapped them to prevent leakage. Must have improved things after previous reviews.Cumin chicken with noodles was delicious and large-portioned.

This is my new favorite schezuan restaurant after have tried this place 3 time.My absolute favorite here that I would recommend is chongqing chicken...this is a fiery (!!!) Crispy delightI wouls recommend not going above 3 or 4 stars for most palateI also almoat always order their hot and sour fish. Which is perfectly sour and spicy.Overall, service is quick and ambience is good.Lot of seating space so perfect for large groups.Also plenty of street parking around to make it easy to park and get in and start chomping on all the spicy goodness served inside

We got the schezuan shredded pork, sizhuan spare rib dry pot, vegetable delight, and schezuan fish boil. The food all came out very fast and were absolutely delicious! Our waiter was very prompt in getting us boxes when it was time to leave, and they package the food for uou. Felt that the level 3 spice level (out of 5) was a little too spicy, might go for a lower spice level next time. Restaurant has lots of windows so the space felt very bright!

Good quality of food at reasonable prices. Best Chinese food in town. Highly recommend!

We ordered the beef with Chinese broccoli and the salty duck to go. The beef is oily but it tasted ok. The duck was a disaster...as dry as dust... and it was totally tasteless. Yet, the duck cost 21.99... what a waste of money. We dined in there before and the food was decent...but the food we ordered this time was definitely a disappointment! Though the food was disappointing, service was good.
