From the outside it looks closed and locked up. However, once open the door, I was pleasantly surprised to walk in to you an open space restaurant with Chinese style wooden chairs and table. Staff was friendly and helpful as first time hear and was not sure what to order. Dishes are bugs. We ordered Dan dan noodles, beef with eggplant, and shredded pork. All so good!! . We opted for no spice with homemade chili oil on the side. The shredded pork had a sweet /tangy flavor - 1 spice which was not spicy at all. I love eggplant and this dish with beef was flavorful and eggplant was cooked perfectly. The Dan Dan noodles had a mild flavor. Added chili oil for a kick.Ordered via OR code. They charge .25 for containers. Ask for a divided container so you each can take home a dish. Would visit again and try other dishes. The menu had items that were authentic like gizzards, phoenix legs, and intestines, and blood stew. Prices were on the high side, but portions were generous

Great service from the servers and the owner came by to check on us couple times. I love their mobile ordering system. The chairs are so comfortable with memory foam cushion. The food is excellent, piece of home every time I have it. Sichuan dishes are commonly greasy but I thought they did a good job with the amount of oil they have to use to bring out the flavor. The dishes all came out very fast. Cumin Lamb and the House Tofu are our two favorites!!

My family and I came here for Chinese New Year. This is the food that I've found in Washington that's closest to the food we can get back home in China. It was so great to have an authentic taste of Chinese food on that special day. My mom and her friends come here often but this was my first time. I really love everything that this restaurant has to offer. The drinks were delicious too! The service was great and I love how when you input the items on your phone they still come over to double check everything that you've ordered. The ambience is great too and the whole time we were there it was very pleasant. I'll be happy to come back many times, and also introduce my friends to food that I think is more authentic.

The wait was decent to be seated, as they have a waitlist tablet and you can go other places near by to waste time and is accurate. Parking spot can be easy to find depending on how busy the restaurant is and there's a street across you can park as well. The food came out at a decent rate, I would say the beef was my favorite and then the tofu with pork. The cold chicken was interesting as I have never had cold chicken even as left overs, but was good however is a bit oily from the chili oil but the bamboo counters it! Feels very cozy and as if I'm actually in Asia, authentic and if you can would go to the Bellevue location. But they do have a Northgate location as well.

One of my favorite chinese restaurants in seattle. This place is almost always packed so don't forget to make reservations.I recommend to have at least 6 people so you can diversify your food to get the best experience.I recommend to get their pork hock soup, Sichuan chicken and spicy tofu fish.

I've heard lots of good things about this place so I was super excited to try!! We always order the Chongqing spicy chicken and szechuan restaurants -- this place is no different. One comment is that there is not a ton of chicken and the pieces are very small. However, the flavor was so good and spicy/numbing and very crispy! The sweet and sour ribs were also good, but personally I think DTF does it better. They were still very tasty (sweet, sour, meaty) though! I also ordered the sour and spicy potato dish (not pictured), which is one of my favorite. The sourness is very unique but really elevates the dish. The potato is also still crunchy, not soft at all, which makes a super satisfying bite.A minor complaint is that this place expects you to use tablets for ordering. They don't have any regular/paper menus at all (we asked)! The tablet is not the most accessible, especially for folks who are not as familiar with newer technology. It's not a very intuitive UI and you have to press on each individual item to see an image of the item. IMO a super easy fix is to just have paper menus as an alternative -- just to look at!This place was still very yummy and I look forward to coming again.

Tian Fu has been on my to-try radar for a long time, and I'm glad I was finally able to pay this restaurant a visit! And I have to say if you are looking for a solid Sichuan style restaurant in the Factoria area, you are in luck! I've been to Tian Fu a couple of times and even though it may look busy if you decide to go around dinner time (6-7pm), service is usually fast and you should get seated soon, unless it's a especially busy night. The ambiance of the restaurant is lively, there are always going to be a good amount of people dining in. The decorations are fit the atmosphere of a busy Chinese restaurant well with decorative Chinese chairs, tables, and wall decor. Ordering is done through their online ordering system - where you scan a QR code, select the dishes that you want, and pay your bill. The restaurant staff will come up to your table afterwards and confirm your order and ensure that there are no mistakes, which is nice. Service is also relatively fast here too - I usually got my dishes about 10-15 minutes maximum after the confirmation. In terms of the food served here, the flavor is great! I've tried a chunk of dishes here - from Boiled meat, to dry pots, to Sichuan vegetable dishes. Most dishes are seasoned well and have pleasing textures. If you decided to order the dry pots, there also is a subtle wok char flavor profile - it's like a smokey charcoal flavor that gives the dishes a extra tang that I haven't really experienced at other Sichuan restaurants. Now, about the spice level since it is what people want when they come to Sichuan place - most dishes have a decent amount of spice, not too much, and not too little. I personally haven't requested more spice, but I'm sure the wait staff would be happy to oblige. On average you will probably spend at most $60 - 75 for three people (assuming about 1 dish per person), and you will definitely get a decent amount of food given the price. I would say for the Factoria area, this is good since most things are expensive here. I have been to Tian Fu a good amount of times, and would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Definitely an authentic Sichuan菜 experience to be had here. Flavors remind me of some of the best similar restaurants I've visited while living in China.Dry hot pots, stir fried green beans, spicy noodles, and (non-spicy) beef and Chinese broccoli and fried rice for the kids made this an all-around great choice to please any palate. Vegetarians also have a lot of options, but I would probably check to ensure it's Western veg vs. Chinese veg to make sure no dietary rules are broken!Although it can get packed, as many other reviews have mentioned, service via QR code ticket gets things moving fairly quickly, and you shouldn't need to wait more than 20 minutes or so.

Since I've so far only ordered delivery from Tian Fu, this review won't get into ambiance and only tangentially into service. I'm only recommending dishes that I have tried, and for the sake of space, I am not detailing all the dishes I've tried from Tian Fu. First, the food here goes beyond the standard American-Chinese menu. Many items on the menu are based on cooking from the Sichuan province in China and are likely to be spicy with both chiles and Sichuan peppercorns. For starters, I've especially enjoyed the Mr & Mrs. Smith Beef, the pork in spicy garlic sauce, and mung bean noodles. All three are delicious and spicy. Another excellent item on the menu is the dan dan noodles. The main dishes are excellent. Both the mapo tofu and the twice-cooked pork, two of the dishes that Sichuan restaurants are often judged on, are very good. The mapo tofu (which can be ordered with pork or as a vegetarian dish) is well spiced with both chiles and Sichuan peppercorns, giving a flavorful introduction of the spicy/numbing (ma/la) experience integral to many Sichuan dishes. Other dishes to try include hand torn cabbage with pork belly, chongqing chicken with chile peppers. For more adventurous eaters, there are dishes including offal (organ meats) to be tried. These include pork kidneys stir-fried with chiles and a dish with dry-cooked pork intestines. While I enjoyed both these dishes, they obviously aren't for everyone. Based on the food, this is an excellent chinese restaurant. In my opinion, this is one of the best Sichuan style restaurants in the area.

Ordered take out. Note, Placed an order before 6pm on weekend, and the wait was an hour. - Szechuan green beans 3/5 - Thought this didn't have meat, but it sure did have lots of crumbled pork. - Green beans were a bit over cooked. - Mapo tofu (with meat, the person ordering for our group forgot to say vegetarian)- this has lots of spices in here aside from spicy spice. It also does have plenty of szechuan peppercorns- quite the tingle. 3/5- Hibiscus passion fruit tea with lychee jelly: passion fruit seeds tasted a bit old, and there wasn't much jelly in here. Bit of a more sour flavor. For all the veggie friends out there- just be doubly careful about what you are ordering.
