Bomb Birria tacos!! Been coming here every weekend. They also give you chips and soup from the Birria broth. Delicious!

I don't always throw food away but when I do, it's from Thovo. This was my first and last time. I had a similar experience as other reviewers who said that they don't pay attention to the order. I went for pick up and when I got home they had not customized my order as I requested. How hard is it to skip the mayo or any ingredient with mayo (chipotle sauce)? Really? $8 for one taco and can't even get it right? That's disrespectful! The birria had a distinct smell that I could t even eat it.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. It's located on the side of one of Eastlake's main streets in a parking lot right off the road. Kind of super random placement not gonna lie but also convenient at the same time to local residents.Looking at past reviews, it does sound like this truck is newer and replaced another one. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Birria and it was amazing. The bread is buttered and toasted perfectly, and the birria tasted great.I honestly wouldn't order any tacos here, one taco was around 4-7 dollars EACH. They look really good but I wouldn't be able to justify one taco for $6 when you can get a whole burrito for around $10 from the same menu. I'm guessing the taco price is because most of the options are seafood.There are some tables under a huge tent right in front of the truck, so seating wasn't an issue at all. They also have condiments and napkins on the tables so you don't have to worry about getting messy!

We enjoyed fish tacos , a shrimp taco , aguachile, cóctel de pulpo and tuna tostada.We liked our tacos a lot a bit pricey though. The aguachile was pretty good spice and good amount for a tostada. The octopus cocktail was super plain not sure what it was missing but needed something. The tuna tostada was okay but wished they added the tostada on the side because it was a big soggy mess when we got home. We had also had the aguachile spill all over the bag. So I guess be careful when getting takeout.Over all pretty good and would recommend. There's an outdoor seating area or take it to go!

I always drive by this food truck parked here in Chula Vista and decided to give them a try. So glad I did, because now I have a good taco truck option close to home. I just ordered a shrimp and a fish taco. Probably should have tried more because the other orders that were coming out of the truck looked very appetizing.The tacos I ordered were delicious. I really liked that the batter on the fish wasn't too thick or overwhelming. The tomatoes, onions and cabbage were fresh and crisp. I think the sauces they give you really elevate the tacos. A chipotle cream sauce and a cilantro sauce really upped the flavor profile.Overall, a good spot for a taco craving. I definitely have to return to try some of their other items on their menu.

Can't speak about all of the products but at least I can say I keep coming back for the tostada especial. They are a little bit slow and pricey, but sometimes it is worthy.

Can't believe I haven't gone to this food truck until recently when a friend of mine invited my to grab a bite after playing tennis at the Eastlake Club just down the street from the hill this spot sits on. There is a dedicated (gravel) parking lot as well as a tent setup with bench seating--a big plus and the staff keeps the tables wiped down frequently. The Taco Tuesday special on discounted fish tacos is a great deal, and the portions are filling. Now that I finally know which truck I always pass by when I'm driving on Eastlake Pkwy, I'll have to come back and try other items on their menu.

Best fish tacos on Tuesday in the Eastlake area! $2 fish tacos are just perfect and they have the best green and orange sauce! It's a weekly ritual for me to get tacos from this food truck!

Omg!!!! The food here is so freaking amazing!! I'm in awe of how bomb the food is here. So fresh and the taste of everything is on point. Today was our first visit, one of many. We tried the aguachiles, cali burrito, quesobirria taco, and a fish taco. Nothing disappointed, THOVO is where it's at!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not to mention the price of the food, would have you question quality, but that's not the case here. Thank you for such an amazing lunch experience being new to SD. We will definitely be back!
