I've driven past this hotel SO many times noticing there was a steakhouse & finally grabbed the name one day to make reservations for my family of 6 (including one toddler). We booked a reservation & when we got there, the full table was set up for us & ready to go. Our waitress's name was Ashley. I'd love to start with highlighting our wonderful experience with her. Ashley was incredibly attentive to our table, went along with the crummy jokes from my in laws (& even threw some humor back- my type of gal ), & was incredibly knowledgeable about all the dishes we had questions on. I appreciated her taking the order for my son & as she promised, it was out within five minutes of us placing the order: hot, fresh, & probably some of the best flatbread I've had (I had a slice or two...you know, just to make sure he'd like it ). We have an array of different pallets for our family members & not one person was disappointed with a dish tried. Drinks were fantastic. Ambiance is out of this world! The hotel itself is beautiful, but Theresa's Italian Steakhouse is STUNNING. Beautiful decor in the lobby, as well as on your way to the host stand located right up the steps. Booths had pretty teal velvet, outdoor seating is plentiful, & the bar also looks very cool. And we all know my favorite part of any place is when they have easy and accessible parking. Parking is a breeze here & a short walk away from the entrance of the hotel. Everyone I encountered here was an absolute gem. We will certainly be back, would love to try out their brunch one day!

Breakfast sensational! Every table was silent when they ate we didn't get it. When we got our food we e totally understood.I had 1 big pancake with two eggs and the best bacon I've had one day before. The service is more than suburb. The servers go above and beyond for guest and that made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Let me just say that we stayed at this hotel over the weekend and it was a really great experience with really nice staff all around so this experience was not related to the hotel at all.We decided to have dinner on Sat night at around 7:30 pm with about 10 people and the service and wait time was absolutely horrible. There were about a few tables sitting when we arrived so it couldn't have been that busy. Anyhow we placed our orders and sat around for about 1-1.5 hours until we got food.Normally, we would excuse if it was busy as most of our table have been servers before but we noticed other tables that have sat AFTER us have been Sat, ordered and received their dinner long before our ours which is pretty unexcusable. The food was decent, but our appetites were already annoyed by the time the food came. I added a star because the server gave us some free desserts that we didnt even eat, but that was nice.

I don't expect much in hotel circle, but Theresa's proved me wrong. It is a lovely place with charming modern ambiance. The food preparation and presentation was excellent and the wait staff outstanding. We had wine and beer selections we all enjoyed. For starters the caprese salad was wonderful with buratta rather than mozarella slices and the bruschetta was equally as flavorful and delicious. The steaks were prepared just as requested and the accompanying vegetables perfectly cooked. The risotto parmesan was delicious and creamy. The spaghetti with meat balls lived up to all the bragging about their Christmas tradition. The desserts were good but didn't live up to the high bar set by the rest of the meal. This is definitely a place to try that can be too easily overlooked.

My coworkers and I decided to have a late breakfast. The ambiance is causal, quiet, and relaxed. Great for a breakfast or lunch meeting. The prices are reasonable for a hotel/resort restaurant. The staff is nice and the service was great. Our party size was 8 people. We were able to place our order quickly. The food came out at a reasonable time. If you are short on time this may not be the spot for you. I emphasize that this is more of a leisure spot or business meeting place. You're not rushed and have plenty of space and time to chat.

Once again a lavishly delectable breakfast to start the day. Praveen is our favorite, thoughtful and kind service. The breakfast potatoes were absolutely the best ever. I really love to flavor and texture. The caramelized onions are tasty with the potatoes. The avocado toast was hearty and refreshing. I would definitely recommend it. We sat at the bar and the seats were comfortable. Great ambience in the bar area. So much good. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

We were excited to discover a steakhouse located in the Mission Valley area which we had never eaten at before. It's located inside the Legacy Christian Conference Center called Theresa's Steakhouse. It's located in the back area of the huge property and inside the hotel and up the stairs to the right. We dined here with another couple who had recommended the restaurant. The dining room area has quite a view of the Mission Valley area facing north towards the Town & Country Resort and RiverWalk Golf Course. The dining room was still decorated for the Christmas holidays. Our server that evening was Stone, and he took very good care of our table. Two of us opted for the Crispy Branzino seafood entree, and two of us ordered their Chicken Piccata entree. Our table split a bottle of Italian Chianti from the wine list. I also aOpted for a cup of their Zuppa Toscana (minestrone) soup. Stone also served us complimentary warm focaccia bread after my wife asked if we could be brought some. I had preconceived concerns prior to dining here as reviews from Yelp, Google, and Open Table were consistently meh to bad and many of the negative reviews were recently posted ones. Trying to focus on the positives, we liked the restaurant's location, parking access, the dining room's decor and ambiance, our server couldn't have given us better service. The dining room was 10%-20% occupied the entire time we were present. No onto the food... The two who ordered the Branzino dish said they liked it despite both only eating half the entree, and taking the other half home. They both said the food was good, but it filled them both up, and were unable to finish. Me and my buddy's wife who ordered the Chicken Piccata finished our dishes, but my chicken was difficult to cut with the knife and was a little drier than I've had elsewhere, there was no white wine lemon sauce which the chicken, pasta, and vegetables on the plate. The veggies didn't taste fresh, nor did the soup I had prior to dinner. The soup tasted like it was canned and not made from scratch. I seriously wanted to like my food served that night, since I was scared to order a steak based on the prior reviews I read. But because half our table loved the seafood dish they ordered, and the other person who ordered the Chicken Piccata dish didn't have as negative comments regarding her dish, I can't really say my average experience was shared by the entire table. The restaurant could definitely do much better as far as the food was concerned. The prices were actually quite reasonable. I believe their filet mignon was only $28 for comparison. Don't take just my word for it, definitely look at other reviews posted recently if you're considering dining here. If you still opt to dine here, it's a safe bet that the Branzino seafood dish will be a good choice. Oh, and their focaccia house bread was very tasty! Make sure you ask for it after your drink order is taken.

This is a hidden gem in Mission Valley as part of a hotel and convention center. It was remarkably quiet when we went for a week night dinner. They had a special on their wines as they were changing selections. You could get a DAOU Pessimist for $25. That is a steal. We had an Isosceles Justin for $50, which is still a steal. The dining room was quiet and had a modest number of guests. My significant other had the mussels dish, and I had the rigatoni bolognese with meat balls. The mussels were great. The rigatoni was a bit under and the meal balls a little dry. The meat sauce was very tasty, so a mixed experience. We had dinner with a good bottle of wine for less than $100. Wow, what are nice experience in our backyard.

I have driven past this restaurant so many times and finally decided to lean into it and ,man, was it worth it! First of all, the ambiance is amazing! Danae was our waitress and she is incredible! Very personable, extremely versed on ALL the menu items and just an overall, lovely and upbeat person! Our food was SO delicious - from appetizer to dessert - ALL entrees were above and beyond. We had the white fish and the New York steak (to die for!!!). I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant as the food and staff are PHENOMENAL! Thank you Danae for one of the BEST restaurant experiences:)
