The Wigwam Bar

I went here for a work lunch and the service was great! I ordered the turkey wrap and it was delicious, would probably stop by just to get it again. We had a table inside but it looks like they have outside seating as well.It was nice to walk around after lunch and see the property as well, very beautiful!

Very nice setting in a very old, historic resort. The ambiance may be the very best part of your experience although the food and drinks are very good, too.Sat at the bar and had the burger with homemade fries and the buffalo chicken wings. Nice selection of beers on tap and in bottles.We started outside having a beer each, but soon became hungry so we came inside to sit at the bar to eat . . . it was becoming a bit too cold to sit outside, but they do have plenty of heaters.Wait staff and bartender are attentive, always checking with you.Prices are reasonable and the food very good.

98 degree's of summer bliss. Wigwam was the winner tonight. After scurrying Round town to find a classy music venue I landed at the Wigwam. Just a lovely setting for some delicious fish tacos and a glass or wine. The music was an added bonus by a local dynamic duo. Highly recommend this retreat.

Bartender was super friendly and my yummy drink was perfect and as requested. A super laid back beautiful Southwest environment was the lovely backdrop and the cozy fireplace was the cherry on top. Always our go to when in Arizona.

This is my 2nd visit. Appetizers, burgers, salads, or entrees they have something for everyone. This is a wonderful relaxing place to unwind and dine. Sit inside or now with the weather changing outside is just beautiful. We really enjoy this place. The service is a little slow mostly I am sure do to staff shortage but the staff is pleasant and friendly and you can tell they are busting it. The nachos are great, burgers, quesadilla, Italian sub and Raspberry salad we have tried. Excited to continue trying out the menu. Oh did I met hey have the best Fries

I really wanted to love it, but we left feeling hungry and meh. Good news is it wasn't all bad, but definitely has much to improve on. We arrived for breakfast and to enjoy some time with family. The area is pretty good size with many tables outside, some seating with fire pits and more With a few of the family pool. It is dog friendly and there were quite a few enjoying the nice weather. We say ourselves and waited for a server to bring menus and take drink orders. After about ten minutes we arrived and seemed to be handling slot herself. She was friendly, apologized for the wait and soon had our drinks to us. The breakfast menu is pretty small, but has some good choices. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches that include breakfast potatoes,,triple stack with bacon and French toast with sausage. Then we waited and waited and waited some more. Our sever didn't come back for at least 20 plus minutes to even let us know it would be out soon or even apologize. When she did appear to acknowledge the long wait it took an additional 15 minutes or so before we saw our food. The breakfast sandwiches looked amazing. The potatoes seasoned well will some bits of peppers mixed in. Once we took a bite I was even happier. Bread was toasted well, bacon crispy and tasty. The pancakes while not looking the best did taste good and bacon was crispy. Unfortunately the French toast really was a let down. While it looked ok at first; upon closer look and when cut into they were not cooked, soggy from the egg wash and inedible. I'm honestly not even sure why the cook thought it would be ok to serve. Why did the food take so long and still one of the most basic meals was undercooked? Sausage was good. By the time we saw the server again we were annoyed and ready to leave. I was not about to ask for anything to be remade in fear of how long it may take and my niece had lost her appetite. For a resort I left a bit bummed.

My experience for weekday happy hour was amazing! These chicken nachos were epic. I did have to pay extra for meat but the HH price made a difference. This was enough for 3 people! The guac was fresh, chips crispy, and there was an assortment of cheeses. It didn't feel super greasy or heavy. I want to go back and try the lavender lemonade. Service was great and there was plenty of seating. Casual vibe. Recommend before enjoying the pool or if you just want to enjoy the happy hour and you aren't a guest.

It was a nice bar and the drinks were good. I loved their black bean and hummus dip and their fish tacos were amazing. I bought their pickle jar and it was the best. I said I am going to make these at home. The pickle jar was delicious, including the egg in it,

TL:DR - Food isn't great, but we enjoyed our experience here with Sunday brunch. Great lawn area with plenty of shade and space for kids to roam around. Service was fine and not overbearing. Loaded tots were soggy and steak quesadilla was super heavy. Grinder sandwich was a plus though.-------------------------------------------------------------A little surprised by the low rating of the place. My family and I came in on Sunday late morning for a relaxed brunch and had a great time. We could a nice little patio section of the turfed lawn and had a nice lazy brunch. The server didn't come by every 15 min, but it's not like we wanted that anyway as we were just enjoying our time.Our party shared some loaded tots, steak quesadilla, and I got the Italian grinder. The loaded tots and stead quesadilla weren't really for me. The tots themselves were quite soft, as if they were frozen and then not cooked all the way, that may not be the case, but either way, with the nacho cheese drenched over it, and it already being soft, it kind of turned into cheesy mashed potatoes. I mean it tasted great, but just a little let down considering the form factor. The quesadilla was also not the best, but not bad either. It was just super heavy. Not sure if it was oily or just super juicy, or maybe both, but it had a lot of liquid on it and with the gratuitous cheese, just made me feel super sluggish after eating it.The winner overall was the grinder. It had a great roll that was soft and pretty light compared to everything else. The giardiniera was sparse. but overall still an enjoyable sandwich.Overall the food was forgettable, but we had a great time at the Wigwam on the lawn. The kids got to play around, the adults had a few drinks and snacked on some food, and the service was great. Everyone was super nice and we were never asking ourselves where our server went. So overall, long as you're not expecting amazing food, you'll enjoy it.

It sucks to say, but this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. For a restaraunt with expensive prices, you expect a LOT more. Plus, I have always had good experiences with this restaraunt in the past, but when I went on my birthday I left hot, grumpy and annoyed.First, we ordered the new queso dip which we went to the restaraunt for. It came out ice cold and was unscoopable. It took a while for the waitress to come back. When she did it was taken off the bill, but by the time the dip came out so did our food.The thing that was worst about this experience is it was so hot we couldn't eat there. We had to take our $100 (worst money ever spent) dinner to go. If the AC was on it wasn't working properly. It is 115 degrees outside and we are roasting, all hot in the face and uncomfortable. We even started to get heat rash.Our food was taken to go and ultimately there was no help from the manager or any other party to ask what was wrong or why we were leaving/ what they could have done. It sucks to feel uncared for in a space where you have always spent so much money.This was a place we went to many times before, but we will never be back, that's how bad it was. Plus, happy birthday to me I guess.
