My favorite tavern in Anacortes. Great staff and service with an excellent craft beer selection. Slightly upscale vibe but by no means pretentious. Everyone is extremely welcoming. Same menu as Village Pizza which is fine by me. Pizza is a very individual thing but I really like the style they make. Dough is made daily in house.

It was time for another wing hit and after reading Yelp reviews, I dragged hubby here. And I am so glad I did. Ordered the regular Hot Wings and they arrived promptly and wafting Buffalo Sauce. Ten wings, too. Not just some wimpy 6 or so. Good division between flats and drumettes and nice and moist. We almost got a second ordered but opted to try a small pizza instead. Ordered the Garden pizza but hubby wanted sausage and I wanted meatballs. So we compromised and ordered both!Super yum...and ample. I had a small sliver this morning because you know...pizza for breakfast is a thing!We will be back in the neighborhood in about a week. Will be hitting up the Wheelhouse for another round of wings. Oh and bonus: they have four flavors of San Juan Seltzer's, too!

Always great. Good food and great service. It's become a local favorite. I no longer live in Anacortes but whenever I visit I stop by the Wheelhouse.

This is our first experience here at the Wheel House. And.... It won't be our last. The food was very good. Hubby had the lasagna. I had the BBQ wings appetizer for an entree' along with a dinner salad. All hit the spot. Corey was our server & Bartender and it was quite busy but he did not disappoint being a solo server. Very impressed with his work ethics, a mover & a shaker. Super impressed! If you're in Anacortes, I highly recommend you stop in for your own experience. As mentioned, we will be back.

I've always wanted to try The Wheelhouse in Anacortes. We have been to Village Pizza many times and the Wheelhouse is connected to the Pizzeria. Their menu is the same and you can order a pie to be brought into the bar. We were fortunate in that we happened to choose a Saturday when the town was not jammed with people. It was very casual in there without the crowd which I liked. I've seen that place with standing room only. I liked the dark wood and the nautical atmosphere. We only had wings and drinks and the wings were just spicy enough but were cooked in the pizza oven and not deep fried. I thought the skin was too sticky but otherwise they were good. The Barman was efficient and friendly. We love Village Pizza and you can negate the kid factor by going into The Wheelhouse. We will be back.

This is the best place in town for good beer and the best pizza ever! If you have rugrats Village Pizza is next door with the same amazing menus and a shared kitchen.This is our go to place when family comes to town, everyone loves the garlic knots.

Every time we eat there we enjoy the delicious chicken wings and the jalapeño poppers. The pizza is great. We will definitely eat here again.

Normally a big fan. As we left one restaurant for poor service went to get a salad here. Sat down and were immediately greeted, which was nice, waitress said let me first tell you we are out of salad. What?! Seriously? How do you run out of salad? They do have great salads and pizza; we left. Headed down the street for another try.

We came here from the marina on a recommendation from a fellow boater. What a hidden gem! Great pub food and good pizza. Awesome beer and cocktail choices. The bar was packed and the staff kept up with all requests. This is a small town neighborhood watering hole and it was great! Can't wait to go back!

I had a big party, called a week ahead for reservation they called me 30 min before the dinner and said don't come, they are too busy. Seriously I have never had an experience like this, people were mad at me because we couldn't all eat together. No matter how good the food is I cannot support that kind of service. Instead went to Union tavern where they literally ran next door to get gluten free bread. Guess which place I will return to?
