If you go to Boston and only buy coffee from Starbucks or Dunkin, you are doing yourself an injustice. We were in need of a massive pick-me-up while journeying on the freedom trail. We stumbled on The Well- it was amazing. The staff are knowledgeable and willing to offer suggestions. I had the Nutty Professor and my husband had the Maple French Toast latte. The Nutty Professor was amazing- with perfect hints of hazelnut and peanut. My husband also preferred my drink to his; although, he did say his was good as well. He also had a spinach/ feta savory treat which he thought was pretty good. The atmosphere is very welcoming. They have a fair amount of indoor and outdoor seating options available. We took some time to just chill inside and enjoy our lattes. I would highly recommend The Well for your caffeine needs!

The sign advertising a butter beer latte is what got me in. I'm a sucker for anything butter beer so was excited to give it a try. It was great! They had other great flavors so I'd def go back if I was ever in Boston again.

We found ourselves at this coffee shop to use their luggage storage program. Upon entering, you will feel the cozy vibes and warmth of the friendly staff. There are several clusters of tables and couches for seating and a great vibe for meetings. We probably ordered a flat white and a pumpkin spice oatmeal latte. Both were delicious and I appreciated how they were able to make the pumpkin spice latte not so sweet. Overall, a great experience and it's hard to beat their location in the heart of everything downtown. The spot is just a few blocks away from Quincy Market, the government center, and all of the freedom trail action.

BEST coffee in Boston and this is a hill I'm willing to die on lol!! I visit Boston quite often (several times a year) and go out of my way to visit this coffee spot every chance I get! I was lured in by their promises of Peanut Butter Mocha the first time and it was so fantastic it's kept me coming back. I've tried other flavors too - their London Fog and French toast - everything I've tried has been wonderful - but that Peanut Butter Mocha just cannot be beat!! It's so creamy and has such a flawless balance of the two flavors - heaven itself! The staff are always super friendly and you can tell they are happy to be there. The vibe is relaxing and always warm and welcoming. The location is excellent- right along the Freedom Trail with the historic Old State House right next door - a fantastic place to relax and people watch. It's always bustling outside but chill inside. And I absolutely LOVE that they pick a local non profit to support each month and donate a percentage of their profits to! They have a small food menu but I've only ever tried their cookies (which were also excellent). Truly some of the best coffee I've had on all my worldly travels and definitely best in Bean Town! Highly recommend!! See y'all on my next visit!! :D

I have so many good things to say about this coffee shop. The people are kind, the food is amazing, and the coffee is just right. There are some good seating options to hang out, work, or play a game. Service is quick as well. I come here just about every day whenever I am in the area.

The Well Coffee House is right next to the Old State Building so I've been meaning to check them out whenever I pass by it! Super great that a portion of the profit goes to charities they work with!! They have a variety of different coffees and teas that look great and are affordable, but my review is only based on the iced tea I ordered. I'll come back to try their coffees because the Well Mocha is calling me -Pistachio Macaron ($2.75) 5/5Pistachio macarons are my favorite type of macarons!! I wasn't thinking of getting one, but I saw they had it so I had to. Love how chewy it was and the filling was a light cream with actual, chopped pistachio nuts in them which I loved because a lot of pistachio macarons I've gotten just have the flavoring -Mango Green Tea ($4.35) 4/5Wanted to play it safe so it was pretty solid, nothing too crazy but it's just what I wanted. The Mango is a sweetener so it adds the sweetness I needed to my green tea! I wanted to try the Mango Dream which is a mango smoothie with mango foam on top which sounds soooo good but atm I needed some caffeine in me hehe

Cute little coffee house. Maybe selections of coffees and teas. A pretty big seating space with chairs or little sofas. Drinks were good and prices were decent. There is a bathroom for customers but to access it you need to ask for a key.

A staple coffee shop for me and pretty much our whole office. Their lavender latte is to die for. I wish they were open a tiny bit later because I would love to come in after work to write and chill but it's okay! Always the nicest folks and they work with charities-right now I think it's Project Bread. My go to is either an iced lavender latte with oat milk or an iced chai with 2 shots of espresso (trust me) and oat milk

Came by for an afternoon pick me up and ordered the crème bru-latte. The drink was only $5, tbh I feel like it's pretty rare to find a flavored latte for this price in the Boston area. The other drinks on the menu were well-priced too, and there were lots of flavor options. The actual drink was okay, it tasted just like a regular caramel latte--nothing special. There'a a lot of seating inside but not that many outlets, as a heads up

Usually when visiting from out of town, we always search for new coffee spots to try. This one got good reviews so we decided to try it out. We ordered white mochas, which we only occasionally order, but... we know what they're supposed to taste like. (Mind you, I make my own espresso at home and am very particular with my beans.) We received our drinks and were expecting our eyes to roll back and say "oh this is GOOD coffee" but it was more of a side eye and asking each other how we liked it. It tasted like sweet milk. We went to the counter and asked the girl to add another shot of espresso because it was too sweet. She seemed confused about it. I saw her take our cups to a back counter and pour what looked like coffee OUT OF A CONTAINER AND ADD THAT TO MY COFFEE! Shouldn't she have pulled a fresh espresso shot...? Probably so. Then I see her talking to the barista who was making other drinks and she was explaining that she was asked to add a shot. Who knows what else she said about it.Took my coffees back not much changed. Probably because she didn't do what was requested.Went back to the counter and asked her to just give us two frozen hot chocolates instead. It was explained to her what a mocha was supposed to be and she kept arguing and saying "well it's a latte." Well, we didn't order lattes. We ordered Mochas. And there is obviously a difference between a latte and a mocha, otherwise they both wouldn't exist. Then she tried to ask "well where do you get coffee?" As if this was our first time ever in a café. We told her even Starbucks was better than this. And she said "well Starbucks is bitter." You sound bitter about it. We've been drinking coffee longer than you've been alive and have made it a point to experience different cafés and coffee in our world travels. If she knew the difference between a latte and a mocha there wouldn't be any confusion. It maybe a variation, but it is made differently.Anyway, she said she refunded the mochas and charged us for the frozen hot chocolates. Let's see if a refund actually comes through. If you're expecting coffee here... Don't bother. Go somewhere else. The service and coffee is something to be longed for here.
