This place is great, but don't let other reviews fool you, there's no dart board. Lol. Otherwise, no complaints. A great little bar with a great vibe, cool bartenders, and live DJ sets sometimes. Perfect date spot.

Very disappointed while I like the dive bar vibe it was a TOTAL RIPOFF 2 house drinks were $34 with tax added (wtf). This is not a dive bar in anyway other than crappy decor and decoration of the dump. Maybe they are nice but at that prices they should kiss my butt. I love dive bars for "affordable" drinks and fun easy environment and this is not in any way. I will not be coming back way too expensive especially for sketchy area it's located. You want real a realDive bar and famous for it go to L &L tap on Clark and Richard's on grand not this expensive dump pandering to the hipster and weirdos.

If you're in need of a quick drink in a chill environment, then this may be the spot for you. The cool thing about this bar is that outside of their great drinks and nice staff, they also allow you to bring outside food in. When we came we brought some delicious sushi inside with us and it was awesome. The music is also perfect with a nice range of songs to vibe out too.

Agree with others! While this is considered a dive bar they have great vibes!!! Great drinks! I enjoyed the Lotus and nice accessible water jug which is quite nice! Best of all they had a great DJ who kept me on my feet all night! Loved DJ Sara Kay! Will definitely be back for her!

Fun dive bar, drinks were good, security was friendly. Bartender poured my can of beer into a glass which I appreciated. DJ Sara K was amazing as well

I feel like "dive bar" is misleading... it's small-ish, but has a great intimate vibe and well-made drinks that are mixed with care and quality ingredients. Cozy in the winter with great big garage windows to open in the summer. Great drinks and totally recommend hitting their weekday happy hour~ a decent selection of their yummy cocktails for just $6! :)

The Walk In is an absolute neighborhood gem. While I had been a few times here and there in previous years, I've become a regular over the past year or so. The amazing staff is what keeps me coming back. They're some of the friendliest people you'll meet. Even if it's busy they make time to chat with regulars and newcomers, all while keeping the drinks flowing. No matter which day you go, day or night, you'll be in good hands. Special mention goes to Gabby who is a A+ bartender. She's attentive and nice, and she'll help you decide on a cocktail if you're new or want to step outside of what you usually get. In addition to every person who works there being a pleasure to interact with, they're always playing fantastic music. They adjust the energy and the volume of the music to match how many people are there and time of day. If you're hungry there's a deli next door at the connected liquor store, and the sandwiches are really good. If you're not in the mood for a deli sandwich, then you can also bring in outside food. Another thing I really enjoy is that they are a very welcoming bar for Black and Brown folks, as well as LGBTQ+. Being comfortable is a huge part of having fun! So to recap: amazing bartenders, really good cocktails, good beer selection (I want more stouts and porters though, but I'd have all bars only serve stouts and porters if I could!), awesome music, food on site and outside food allowed, and a welcoming and safe atmosphere. Stop in!

Great vibes, pretty much the only bar that's open late around the area with great hip hop music and a fun dance vibe. Love it!

I love this bar. Not sure why my review says Go-go gimlet wasn't good - it's my favorite. Music and vibe is always a good time. Plus can't beat the prices and so many places to eat in the nearby area.

Man, what a bummer. I've been living in the neighborhood for a little over a year. I'm SO glad to be here. It's such a breath of fresh air from the rest of the city; it really does feel so unique and interesting. I've been to the Walk In twice. The first time I didn't leave a review because...well, everyone has bad days. But upon my second visit, I'm realizing the dude with the glasses needs to find a new job. Or go work at another bar. I'm in the industry, so I get that people can suck. This dude is just so immediately unpleasant. He's been rude to me twice, multiple times each visit. I get how busy industry bars can be, and I try to be as quick at the bar as possible. But I won't be back to this bar...it feels like a party I'm not invited to. And thankfully, I don't want to be invited. Because I won't be back. The DJ's and music are great tho. Too bad.
