Met some friends here for Happy Hour as it was halfway between us. Decent service, fast on food and drinks but let us have our time as we were visiting with our friends from the other side of town. Happy hour specialty drinks were good per the ladies, and the guys enjoyed a cold beer. Would stop by again if in the area!

The food is really good here. However, We came to try The Vig on what must have been a bad day, Walking in to the hostess stand was not fun. We couldn't get anyone's attention and after we did there were no words exchanged. Just menus slapped down. Too bad this happened - it just makes patrons feel like we're not welcome and we're bothering you to come eat with you. Anyway we ordered a burger and ahi tuna salad, on a slow day where we were one of four tables started. After 30 minutes we were told the food had suffered a mishap and someone opened the kitchen door and everything took a tumble. Oh...The manager did come promptly and promised new entrees as soon as possible. However unfortunately when the burger came out it was well done ( Hubby ordered rare ) and the French fries were cold. Lauren took care of this immediately and brought out new fries, a new burger medium rare and basically saved the day!She compt the meal making it all ok, since there were so many mistakes along the way. Overall I'd go back because of the great waitress and Lauren the manager.

My go to spot. My night time spot. My anytime spot. I live nearby and I can't imagine living her without the Vig. So good. Food options for everyone, and great service. Can't beat it. I just wished they would stay open later. Please stay open later!!

Went for happy hour. Nachos were loaded and tasty, pretzel was bug enough for the 5 of us to share. Ambiance was ok as the bar area felt dark and dated. Convenient location with good parking.

The Vig has always been a favorite for me. Anytime I get the opportunity to eat nachos, I do. The size was perfect for us to share the part I was not crazy about is that the CHEESE was a Crema. it clearly said it on the menu but we overlooked that and we ate the nachos anyway but I prefer real cheese on my nachos. It was our fault, but I won't order them again.

2 Different Vigs in the last month with the same results... just okay! Probably my last time ordering the Flying High Cadillac Margarita. It missed the mark at both locations as it's full of ice and needs to be a better (heavier) pour. It doesn't seem like more than 3 ounces worth of a cocktail... and for $16 that's probably what made me mad on this trip. For dinner, we had the crab & shrimp enchiladas & the Braised Beef Dip. Decent, but nothing special and my enchiladas needed a compliment "crunch factor" added to it like tortilla strips or something. The Braised Beef sandwich bread was definitely overcooked, but the beef dip was lacking a personality of flavor. Nothing really had that WOW factor. Towards the end, we decided to order the calamari as an afterthought hoping to complete the night. After a few pieces in, I noted that it was "rubbery"... I shared it with the server as she sensed our disappointment and had it removed which I appreciated. The disappointing part of my recent visits has been the lack of "wow" and smaller portions that don't match the price point of what is being spent. Cleaning out my wallet and looking at the receipt, I spent just over $100 (including a good tip)... for 2 cocktails, 2 dinner items... $100. If you come, I highly suggest coming for Happy Hour as the variety of items and price point seem to be more suitable. Not sure I'll call it "dinner" going forward.

I ordered the fish and chips 2 of them. They where disgusting the fish was soggy while the breading was way too thick. It was not fresh fish. It was already breaded, captain D's, or long. John silvers would have been much better and much cheaper I might add the service was OK, I did order to go in the bar area, the ambience was nice where I was at but the food or shall I say the fish and chips was terrible. I would never eat there again.
