The food is good (love those truffle parmesan fries), nice atmosphere, good service - what's not to love in a neighborhood place? Good prices on the beers too.

GIGANTIC PORTIONS, GREAT DRINK OPTIONS (and strong too ;))! The pics do not give justice to how big the plates were! After a long search for finding the perfect place to watch football games around Somerville/Cambridge area with my boyfriend, the Turing Tavern offered everything I could want! The exterior has a garage door with windows, and I am excited to come back when the weather is warmer to see if they open it up then! I loved the inside: spacious, but you are not seated super apart from the others where you feel like you're enjoying the game by yourself. This place has amazing deals throughout the week (I'll list them below). In addition to playing games on the big screen WITH commentary (at least for the primetime games cuz I was there for the Bengals game last Thursday), they have many activities that promote community in the charming area of Inman Square. Inman Square is lucky to have a place like this :).Fried Chicken Tenders with Buffalo sauce $15: The tenders were huge! It was our least favorite on the table, but it does not mean it tasted bad. I would eat it with someone else, but I wouldn't order it for myself. I think this is depends on people's preference. I'm not a chicken tenders person but I was craving buffalo sauce then, so that's why I ordered it.Baked Mac & Cheese side $9: Just $9 and I got an entree-sized portion for all of that! I will 100% come back just for the mac & cheese and get the entree size; I will be eating it ALONE. YOU MUST COME FOR THIS.Fish & Chips $23: This place will give you ginormous pieces of fish you will ever get. I loved the batter and how soft the fish was. I l loved how much coleslaw you receive with the fish.Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee $10: The hardened shell was too hard - it kind of hurt our teeth eating into it. HOWEVER, we enjoyed the soft insides of it. I need to try the fried donut holes! It looks more appealing and I can't wait to go back to this amazing establishment!All Nighter $13: Basically an espresso martini. One of the cheapest places that I've seen in the Boston area AND they're strong ;). I loved it!Espionage $10 (I'm not 100% if this is what we got): It was ok according to my bf. He stole my Cipher drink basically haha.Cipher $9: If you like blood orange, or palomas, you'd like this a lot like me.Specials/Activities dine in only:- Pasta Mondays: $19.99 for choice of pasta with soup or salad, glass of house wine or 24 oz PBR, Bud Light or Coors Light- Tuesday Trivia: 8pm-10pm- Wednesday: $10 burgers (the tavern burger) all day- Sunday-Thursday: Half price appetizers from 3pm-6pm at the bar

Just visited again for brunch. Delicious options. And they have mocktails for a great price. I got the virgin Bloody Mary and it was so, so good. Thank you for offering mocktail options!

Not just "pub" food! Delicious ample portions. I had the mussels as an appetizer and a Ceasar salad with salmon. My companion had the calamari and cod. Spacious and friendly with a very cool interior. Highly recommend.

Our family stopped in on New Year's Eve to have an option to watch football...glad we did. Nice place, drinks were great, strong, food was excellent and service was fantastic! Our server/bartender, Jason was fabulous, giving drink recommendations and chatting with us.

Came to the Turing Tavern for their 1/2 app special at the bar. We got fries, chicken tenders and shrimp scampi, all HUGE and delicious. Can't wait to come back and try more!

This was my first time at this restaurant. The service was awesome, the food was not. I went with a friend that usually gets beer and a burger. Appetizers are 1/2 price before 6:00 so I gave them a try. What I had was no big deal. The calamari was over salted and instead of strips of chicken it should have been chopped on the nachos. The ambiance was typical for a neighborhood eatery. There is metered parking which can be difficult to find on Cambridge Street. I am not in a hurry to return to that restaurant.

The food is amazing! We got the meatballs and tavern burger and they were all handmade and cooked perfectly! Service was super quick and our waitress was very kind! The ambiance is very homey and warm! It makes us feel so comfortable and relaxed!!

This place is near my neighborhood & we've eaten here often. Service is great. Ambiance is nice, especially when the front overhead doors are open. Food is usually pretty good & prices are reasonable. It's a Tavern, so bar food expectations. Sandwiches, Burgers, salads & pasta dishes are always solid choices. Recently I was in the mood for some fish & made the mistake of ordering the Fish & Chips. Looked nice when it came out, but it was hard to find any fish with all the breading, which was overly thick and mushy. It also had a strange flavored herb taste that overpowered any flavor from the cod. I prefer a thinner, crispier batter for the fish. My advice? Lots to enjoy here, but skip the Fish & Chips.

Awesome new spot in Inman Square. A cool vibe with really good food. Not expensive like all new restaurants in Cambridge.
