The Town Pump

This is a good place to stop and have a beer..... The furniture is really old and needs updating... they have a nice patio area, and a pool table inside.. The staff are s very friendly and inviting... Parking around here can be challenging, you may have to park a half a block away... It is small inside and it seems most people know each other, it reminds me of an old school house party to be honest... They do have food, either sandwiches or pizza, their kitchen is limited

Been meaning to stop here...forever....finally had the timing right to have lunch! Wow! So impressed. To start with I needed a taller bar stool which Molly provided. I like to have a drink with my lunch but they don't have a 'drink menu'. I get flummoxed! I want to try something out of the ordinary but when faced with having to 'pick' something I can't think of what I might like. Molly asked what did I like...refreshing, sweet, type of liquor? Aha! Gin, refreshing...she said she could make me something & if I didn't like it she would make me something else. It was great...she called it...Glad I'm Not PG...however the bill says...Fun as F###....whatever...it was great! Had the Buff & Bleu sandwich which was tasty spicy. So ok...this is not an upscale place....your standard old time bar where NO-ONE has their face in a phone. People know & talk to each other. Can't wait to go back!

Honestly I've only had beer never food from this establishment.Took a walk around the bar then left. Place smelled heavily if urine.Haven't been back

Very friendly. The pizza is amazing. The drinks are great and the bartenders are welcoming and quick to make you feel like family.

Ah, the good old Town Pump! There are times when a reasonably priced drink, and honest good food overrides a fancy appearance. We stopped in for a bacon Turkey melt sandwich and a drink today, and I've never been disappointed with ANYTHING that I have ever eaten here. Their pizza rocks, the sandwiches are always great, gotta be my favorite dive bar in the whole county. (Conway Pub is great too.)Nice house salad with the sandwich, excellent au jus , and a very tasty sandwich. Sitting outside on a nice summer day. Life is good.The Town Pump is far from pretentious - it is a lot like one of my favorite old t-shirts. Simple menu well executed, great drinks and great prices.

Locals galore, having fun, laughing loudly, didn't see a single Karen in my visit. Drinks are cold and bartenders seem welcome to have fun. Food was a wee slow, but that one guy was working his tail off. My kind of crowd that i enjoy finding when on the road for work.

Used to be a serious dive bar w/a rough-looking crowd in and outside/around the place. In the last 10 years or so however, it cleaned up and had vastly improved... While the food is still usually pretty good, the bartenders have either gotten way too comfortable in their jobs or simply stopped caring. Maybe they're on a downhill slide back into the gutter from where they came.

Wow- hidden gem!Not a lot to look at from the outside but incredible food and exceptional service. Definitely will go back and refer others!

Great place with friendly service and friendly patrons. I honestly say I have never had a bad drink there. This is the place to go if you want pull tabs. My last visit, a guy won $600, just playing pull tabs. I wasn't that successful! This is not a fancy place, but it is a place for great drinks!

Great bartenders, great crowd, and best yet, great drinks. Sports all the time on TV. Fantastic pizza. Pizza so good, I haven't tried anything else on the menu.
