We have been hanging out at the wine bar for over 6 months and have enjoyed it the whole time. The service has been great, wine selection awesome, beers selection is huge but i stick to one beer that i love. They also have lots of different snacks/food that is really good. We now meet our friends there and have noticed it's a great couples date night hangout.

Such a quaint neighborhood vibe. Love the owners interactions with their guests. The inexpensive yet tasty appetizers . To have an actual sommelier here is top notch.

The Good: I've been coming to this place since it opened, as it is a great hangout spot (just don't get too familiar with the owner: see below). The owner is a certified sommelier, and thus the selection of wines is excellent. The Tipsy Jellyfish is best described as "refined yet unpretentious," and the atmosphere is cozy and "living-roomesque."The Bad: The owner, Kathryn, in true small-town fashion, talks about the patrons to the other patrons. I've listened to her grumble and complain about:- the Navy wives that come in large groups, order one glass of wine each, and then drink water for the next couple hours;- the patrons that are too stupid to figure out how to use the water machine she's brought in so she doesn't have to refill their water glasses;- other regulars who come in right before closing and keep them open two extra hours without ordering much;- who was really inebriated last night and showing it; and - who exhibited untoward behavior.Kathryn lacks boundaries regarding what to pass on to patrons and what not to. It's unprofessional, and there are plenty of other fine establishments to hang out at where this isn't an issue, which is where I'll be hanging out from now on. Cafe Rustica is a good choice. Full bar, greater and more hearty food choices, and also cozy, just a block away.

My wife and I were visiting from out of town and wondered into this place on a Tuesday evening. It's a fun environment where we struck up great conversations not only with the owners, Jim and Katherine, but with locals. I believe Katherine is a sommelier and a lot of the wine selections are from local vineyards we would have never had the opportunity to try. If we ever make it back to the area this will be at the top of our list to visit again!
