The Taco Spot - Scottsdale

For starters, service was incredibly friendly and the place was clean. Try it if you're that curious, but i strongly recommend any of the 30 other taco places that we somehow have within 5 minutes of this restaurant. Came here with a few other guys and we compared notes. Meat was bone dry across the board. The salsa that comes with is in a tablespoon sized container so that was almost of no help. The prices are high for what you're getting. We thought they forgot our taco's, mistaking the tinfoil in the bag to being a wrapped up like wedge. But alas... that was our taco... one of 4 bite sized taco's with two ingredients (meat and lettuce) for the price of $15. We also asked for Burria tacos and got plain tacos. The burrito was pretty good, but still dry. The fries were good but had a bizarre chemically after taste. Did we go to Taco Bell afterward? Yes. Was it better? Yes. Am I embarrassed to say this? No. Señor taco, taco papi, and especially habaneros are far superior alternatives! Heck even Loco Patron has so bizarrely amazing burritos, steak quesadillas, and salsa for the table! Same price as here too!

We ordered delivery so I can't speak on service or ambiance. The food was just meh. I ordered chicken tacos with fries. I liked the fries. My partner or tacos and birria quesadilla he was disappointed because it didn't come with the birria sauce so he didn't get the full affect.

Loved the Birria! The broth is actual broth and not a pool of fat and grease. Quality ingredients and excellent portions! Spot on! ;)

My coworkers and I come here often on our lunch break. Very happy and friendly staff. All the tacos are amazing as I highly recommend the Surf n Turf tacos. A good authentic taco place for sure.

The smallest tacos I ever had in my life and I've had some tacos. Ordered 3 that usually does the trick had to order 3 more to fill the tank. Won't be back.

If you haven't been here, you're missing out!!!!! Super delicious food on the fly! Ramen is awesome and spicy because it's a Tapatio Ramen. Burrito is huge and the quesadillas are the best!!!

So.... I follow The Taco Spot on IG and it always looked amazing. I was really excited when I heard they were opening in Scottsdale. The restaurant is VERY CLEAN and the girl that helped us out with our order was very nice. Unfortunately, the food was just OK. We had the quesabirria tacos and carne asada nachos. When they were served, I thought wow, everything looks great. After the first bite of nachos, they were eh. The serving was small for the price, the carne seemed like ground beef, and the nachos cheese had no flavor. The tacos had a substantial amount of meat (but dry) and were better with the consume. The horchata seemed watered down from what I have had at other restaurants. Overall, I would probably not return with all the other great Mexican food options out there.

Had it twice. The taste is there but they need to fix the ratio of ingredients. My wife and I had the carne asada fries, burrito, taco and birria ramen. They didn't put enough meat in either of them. Once that gets fixed I'm sure it'll be great.

Found this place on google maps , Saw that they had birria , burritos , soups , asada fries . And had to give them a try . I got a burrito combo with a taco and fries , 1 birria soup , 1 asada fries , 1 birria quesadillas. And I was in for a treat . The food came out delicious . The consome for the birria was really good . The ramen birria was spicy and so good , will be coming back

I have to give it to them it's pretty bold to charge the price they do then give you a fun size taco, and it wasn't even special, bland, and normal. Don't waste your money or time, let me be the example.
