The Sweet Side

I have ordered cake from here for multiple occasions. I love browsing their website for new pre-design options to see if they fit what I am looking for. You can pick your flavor, colors and wording for any of their pre-designed cakes. I also have enjoyed their signature cakes.The cake flavor I tried recently was the carrot cake which was good but rather dense and very sweet. The other cake I tried which was a crowd pleaser was the strawberries and champagne. I thought the flavor was unique and it being pink was perfect for event.Both of the options above that I have experienced have been accompanied by a smooth and easy process. You can do it all online (pick what you want, pick up date and time, pay etc.)

I served red velvet on my wedding. My best friend served red velvet on her wedding for me. This wasn't the best red velvet as it was too sweet and too dry, but I still love red velvet.

This is in the heart of the new Totem Lake village and I have been dying to try it but they have always been closed (I gave been here about 6 times!!!), so be sure to check hours. My review is only based on their gluten-free macarons since it was the ONLY gluten-free option they had (so sad!!). I got 2 of the vanilla and they were very sub-par (my way of saying this nicely). I have had these at about a handful of places, and they are typically just fine but here the cookie part was very crunchy (not supposed to be) and their was so little frosting, I could barely taste it and definitely could NOT experience its typically amazing texture. So disappointing. I didn't even want to eat the 2nd one! This is NOT normal for me. I only did because I paid $2.50 for this cookie and didn't want it to go to waste. I should have just tossed it and saved myself the calories. Now I still have a sweet tooth since that obviously did not hit the spot so have to find another place...Sees Candy is close and always a safe bet, so I guess I will go there. I hope their other desserts are better!! Good luck if your try them!!

It's a very beautiful place lovely ambiance and positive vibes ....a Long time pending to visit so finally went on Friday afternoon with friends.huge spread of desserts .. took chocolate cake and blue berry chocolate cake . Cake were delicious with correct amount of sweetness even the frosting on cake was less sweet so first time I ate frosting on cake. Flat breads were nice too. I took Hibiscus rose and Berry with champagne . Hibiscus rose was just like water which I paid 6$+ I guess they should improve their drinks section as they have very limited menu ....so they should make sure all items are served at best. Service was quick but they didn't told us when order was ready Parking will be tough May be you can plan to park near Traderjoes and walk in ......

Amazing food. Pricy, but it's ok: I sold my car just so I could afford another cotton candy cupcake. It's ok, I can walk to work.

What a super cute place! I stopped in here while walking around The Village at Totem Lake and to my delight, stumbled across this adorable coffee/sweets place. The vibe was great and really welcoming. The decor was well done and the staff was delightful! Among the large selection of cakes, cookies, cupcakes and pastries was a really simple list of beverage options that ranges from coffees to teas to adult beverages. The staff greeted me as I walked in and offered a free cookie to me. The salted caramel macaron was absolutely to die for. I ordered a 12oz white chocolate latte and it was also delicious. Affordable too!They also make specialty cakes that not only look delicious, but really cool too. They sell custom cakes and you can order right from the fridge if previously made cakes if you find one you like. Would highly recommend!

Super cute place. Love the decor. The staff was very friendly. I was meeting a group and I don't have a big sweet tooth. Would love to see a muffin of some kind. I'm not doing milk of any kind. Ended up with tea as they have no drip coffee. Had a peanut butter brownie. It was really good. Perfect place to get your sugar fix along with espresso to really get you going.

This was an adventure...I ate a macaron despite them having flies on top of it just because i want to give this local business a shot.So business owners definitely need to update the displays.The macarons are way too small in size for 2.65 a piece and the lemon bar is wayyy too sweet but definitely seemed to have enough lemony flavor from possibly real lemon zest plus juice and not just essenceOverall 2 stars seemed appropriate and unless lot of reviewers convince me otherwise i am going to hold off on any return visits

I must say, the peanut butter and chocolate-flavoured cake was a revelation - easily one of the best cakes we've ever had! It's a solid 100/100 from me for the cake!From a price point of view, it might seem a bit on the higher side, but considering the exceptional flavour and taste, I believe it's worth every penny. It's not just about the cake; it's about the experience and the joy it brings, and "The Sweet Side" definitely delivers on that front.If you're in search of a cake that will not just satisfy your sweet tooth but also leave a lasting impression, I highly recommend checking out "The Sweet Side". I hate this place. It's such a shame cuz Totem Village could use a great bakery or dessert place. This place is not that. We went after shopping and looking for sweets and coffee. There was nobody in the place. The one worker was in the back doing dishes or something and took time to come out. We got a slice of cake and some tea. It took forever. Cake looked pretty but was stale and old. Was not great.Bad service and terrible food. This is what not do in a great location. How does this place even stay in business.
