The Sushi Stand

From the get go, the place seemed really nice and it really made me crave sushi. When I got my roll, the packaging was really cute and compact (forgot to take a pic of it).For it being called spicy, it was not so spicy (prob because of spice tolerance), but there was some. It was very filling and the presentation was nice. I had no issue with the flavor honestly because it was really good, but just wanted it a little spicier.

So good!I've tried a few things off their menu now and have yet to be disappointed. The Fresh Prince roll & their nigiri are my faves. The onigiri is fantastic, but could be better.Service is speedy and they still fulfill quality orders.Liberty Public Market is such a cute place, lots of places to choose to sit.

Cutest boxes of sushi! I saw this place online and since it had good reviews I wanted to give it a try so I could also get a box of sushi! The sushi was good, but the box made it even better. The staff was nice and let me customize my order to order a single onigiri with custom filling instead of 4, which is listed on the menu. I got the fresh prince roll and it was good. I don't think I'd go out of my way to come back to this place, but would definitely get it again if I'm at liberty station. Really the box was the best part!

The best thing about this place is their cute packaging. It is perfectly sized and I love the color. I tried their miso soup and the size of the tofu was impressive, but I only got one piece. Also, all I could taste was salt. Horrible. I got their Fresh Prince roll and, honestly, it was a below average roll. Not the worst I've ever had, but not worth the ridiculous price whatsoever. We're in San Diego, so there are a lot of other sushi options that I would rather go to for a cheaper price.

I have been meaning to try this sushi spot for a while now after seeing it on instagram and a trip to the public market meant it was time to try a roll! I will say this roll was super good but the price is what kind of throws me off. I would definitely order multiple if it wasn't going to be super expensive but I am glad I got to share one with my boyfriend. The flavors were amazing and the presentation in the box is really an elevated feel that I loved. For a gourmet sushi roll the service was pretty quick considering it was a busy day in the public market. I want to come back but the price may detour me for a special occasion or when I want to splurge on great sushi!

Upon entering Liberty Market, it was immediately to our left in the far corner (of course, depending on which entrance you enter from, this would change - it's the one next to the beer stand, left of the mini donuts, diagonal to bathrooms/arcade, etc).What is this gem?! We ordered "I See Fire", "What's Poppin'", "The Beef", and a California roll, and everything was made to order and tasted fresh. The packaging is adorable, reminded me of a box of french macarons, and I loved that they are all about being environmentally conscious. Given it is our first time experiencing Liberty Market, I can't speak to much, but this was a great spot and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here.

We visited the sushi stand located on the corner of liberty station. The venue was clean and small with seating located near by. I asked the cashier what he would order on his lunch and he said the "I see fire roll" and his coworker said the "fresh prince", so I ordered both. The sushi was alright, I preferred the roll with lemon. But neither rolls wowed me or my boyfriend. I would say it's pretty basic and good for a pinch if you're in the area and have a need for a quick sushi fix. 6/10 foodWhat stood out to me was the service. The employees I met tonight are the type of people who are down to earth, cool, and make ya feel completely welcome. 10/10 service.

Food: My sushi roll was so pretty to look at, but also very delicious. I love lemon, so the prince roll was the perfect roll as the lemon flavor was very strong!Service: You order at the front and wait for your order to be ready. Staff was very nice and quick. Ambiance: The Sushi Stand is inside the Liberty Public Market so it tends to get very busy and hectic, especially during peak hours. It's also very close to another food stand, which makes it hard to know where the line is. However, there's tables inside the market or outside once you get your order. You can also see how they make your roll while you wait.

Located inside Liberty Station and very Americanized trailered towards tourists it was actually pretty good. The cashier and chefs were really nice and sushi rolls came out at a reasonable time. The sushi tasted fresh and was well flavored with sauces.
