The Store in Anacortes

Simple but delicious. Is the best way to describe the muffin we got from here super moist and flavorful probably going back to get more in the morning. Breakfast was decent burrito was good salsa tasty freshly made bacon cooked well can't go wrong. Service was quick walk up and order then wait. It has a cool general store vibe when you walk in and they do have just about everything you could need from a corner market type place they also brew fresh coffee I'm not a coffee guy but there were quite a few folks in there getting it.

Run don't walk. The customer service at The Store is some of the best customer service I have ever had anywhere! I explained my allergy to them and they answered my questions then also went and consulted the baker to make sure everything was as they said. The bakery counter is the stuff dream are made of! There are so many flavors of everything! I got a white chocolate cranberry muffin because it felt like just the right amount of Christmas in a muffin. We also got a loaf of basil garlic bread that I can't wait to spread some soft butter on and eat the whole loaf! The last thing we got was frosted molasses, molasses, peanut butter and snickerdoodle cookies. Everything was a fantastic price. I will be back and bringing everyone I know!

I've never been so excited for muffins the way I was in this store. I asked them what the most popular one was but they said theres 250(!!) on rotation so its really totally just up to my taste. I got the peach cobbler one and a chocolate caramel cheesecake one. The caramel chunks in the second were soo goopy in a delightful way and the peach cobbler one had entire peach chunks. Obviously they were both great. But not as ridiculously amazing as the rosemary sea salt loaf. It'd just come out of the oven so we had to get it. Oh my gosh. Soft as a pillow on the inside and the outside that perfect crusted bread texture. And the rosemary, sea salt, and olive oil literally waft through your mouth. Insanity level good. We also got 3 cookies for $1.75 total. Combined. Between three cookies. Amazing deal. And the icing on the cake was that they said someone in front of us had paid it forward for the next few customers so one muffin was free. I hope whoever did that knows what a smile they put on my face. Unfortunately the deli is closed saturdays but prepared some cold sandwiches in the fridge so we got a chicken salad sandwich on rye that was also very scruptious.

Read the reviews and we were excited to try. Unfortunately, the best thing from this shop was the croissant. The muffin was good, the coffee was not. Very nice staff, very cute place, but did not love it.

The people are the best! The baked goods looked and smelled like they would be the best ever! They were good. Maybe the hype had us expecting more. We took home fresh baked bread, it was still warm from the oven and a few muffins. I love that people love this place, but it's not going on my list of must return to places.

Paid almost $8 for one muffin. Left the store feeling hurt, robbed, and financially cheated.

Obviously the muffins are spectacular. We also love the cookies. I sometimes pick up three dozen cookies for the church coffee hour, pass them off as homemade, and everyone is so impressed. We also really appreciate the ready-made sandwiches when we're on our way out of town and need a quick meal. Coffee is so-so, but the pastries make up for it.It has the ambiance of an upscale convenience store combined with a bakery, which is exactly what it is. Worth a visit!

A hidden gem off the beaten track in Anacortes! They make incredible lunch sandwiches. You can't go wrong with any choice from the menu. After you pick up your delicious sandwich, be sure to pick up some freshly baked muffins or cookies! Super people; super business!

Muffins are delicious, and are large. Haven't had one I didn't like, so far the muffins with lemon flavoring have been my favorites.
