I stopped here for breakfast around 10 AM on a Thursday on the way to North Cascades National Park, and was surprised by how full the spot was -- clearly lots of regular locals and families. My friend and I shared MATT'S LOADED HASHBROWN PLATE ($16.99; hashbrowns with ham, bacon, sausage, onions, mushrooms, and cheddar -- omitted the green peppers), and a side of two eggs ($3.95). They also do half portions for a few dollars less, but splitting a regular plate is obviously better value, and was plenty for breakfast. This was pure comfort food, and made for a satisfying diner meal. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy, the meats and cheddar added great flavor, and the poached eggs mixed in well. The plate came with the choice of bread or a pancake, and the white bread we chose came nicely toasted and buttered. Overall, nothing particularly mind-blowing, but solid diner fare with a wealth of choices, a busy small-town atmosphere, and very reasonable prices given the portions.

Gluten free Eggs Benny!!!! (I had it on GF Toast (not an English muffin) and it was just what I craved and haven't had in SO LONG due to sadly, needing to avoid gluten. DELICIOUS!! Really Tasty! They also have GF pancakes I'll try next time!

I stopped by here as it was one of the few eateries open when I got here around 7 am. This place opens at 6 am which is great if you are passing through. Located in Arlington's downtown strip, there are plenty of street parking in the early hours. There is also a lot right across it. The diner is quite big with two sections and you can sit anywhere you like. It was busy when I was there, about 3/4 full. I guess this place saw many travelers passing through as well as the locals. Though I could not imagine bringing their families here so early at 6+ am for breakfast. I had coffee which was badly needed since I was already on the road from 5 am. Good thing it was refillable. I liked how the server asked if I wanted flavored cream when I requested for cream. I was more sleepy than hungry then so I just had a small order of the biscuit and gravy. It came with half biscuit, gravy, an egg, 2 sausage link or bacon, and choice of country potatoes or hashbrowns.The biscuit itself was not as good as the one at Lake Stevens, but it was still nice. The gravy was yummy. Overeasy egg was cooked well. The sausage links were skinny and hash browns nicely crisped. This portion is good if you are not a big eater. I struggled to finish it. Service was friendly and good here. This could be my go to place to break for coffee and breakfast in future when I am heading down to Seattle in future. Lots of other items in the menu which looked good too. Highly recommended!

Lovely old town feel of Arlington, WA and this is where we go EVERY time. Cost $$Wait Time- this place is popular especially on weekends. Plan your trip and be patient. Put your name in at front. No reservations. Every item had here is great traditional diner food. Large portions- come hungry. My favorite- chicken fried steak plate.

My husband & I came in as a recommendation from a local FB page, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is very old school diner, cute decor. We walked in a bit before closing on a Saturday and got sat right away.The cornbread pancakes are quite literally the best pancakes I've ever had!!! My husband is a big breakfast burrito guy. Apparently they recently took theirs off the menu or moved it around and we couldn't find it, but our sweet waitress (I wish I caught her name because she was so great) was more than happy to have the kitchen make his breakfast burrito dreams come true, and he said it was outstanding. I couldn't even sneak a bite in to try it for myself. I got their California Stack...? Or something like that. Overall very good, next time I would probably want to hollandaise on the side as it made the hash browns a bit soggy, but other than that superb! Our waitress was so sweet. I ordered a Coke Zero and it never went empty, which is big for me!! We will definitely be returning!

This was our second time visiting The Stilly Diner and just like the last time, they did not disappoint. Service-- it is a seat yourself type place and there is a sign up sheet outside if all tables are occupied. Staff is always friendly and attentive, in my experience. Ambiance-- there's a vintage-type vibe, which I find endearing. Lots of cool artwork, but not too much space to play around with. The layout is a little weird with the kitchen in between 2 rooms. Food-- HUGE portions, but so so good. This time around, I got the California hashbrown plate with eggs over easy and a pancake, and my husband got the cornbread pancakes with butter pecan syrup and bacon with eggs over easy. We could not finish our food. We ended up eating maybe 1/4 of everything and took the rest home. The California hashbrown plate was soooo good! Everything you could ever need on 1 plate! My husband said the cornbread pancakes were the best pancakes he's ever had. He said the syrup is something special. I look forward to our next adventure to The Stilly Diner!
