The Stanwood Cafe

Ordered breakfast to go. The food was mediocre at best. Not bad, but really nothing special or notable.

We came here for a late lunch, and this place was perfect, It looked as if it came out of a Norman Rockwell picture. The waitress was nice, attentive, and had a sense of humor. The food was delicious, I recommend the soup with lunch, it was wonderful. Out water glasses, and coffee never ran out. They have a private parking lot on the east side of the building. Definitely pop into here if you are in the neighborhood.....

This is a pretty good little breakfast place. There seemed to be a lot of locals, the service was pretty casual, and the place wasn't too big. The food was exactly what we needed, and didn't take too long either!Overall, it was a good place for a casual weekend breakfast, and the prices were pretty moderate.

I love this little diner! Food is great, service is friendly and portions are humongous. Coffee is nice and strong. The big man special is a great deal. The only thing I wish they would improve are their omelets. There is just way too much cheese and the veggies are very over cooked. I would steer away from the omelets and go for eggs on their own.

It's just hard for me to get past the dingy, nasty vibe of the old building. Seeing large cracks in the walls just doesn't sit well with me. Sure the food was OK, and the portions were large. But there is more to dining than just the volume of food.

The food is very good .The hours are limited.Friendly staff although sometimes few. The place has been around and could use some tlc on the building.

I have been coming here for few years for breakfast and lunch and have never been disappointed. Everything I have ordered has been quite good. I particularly love their bobbity salad ( greens, apples, walnuts, raisins, feta cheese, cubed chicken,onions. Covered in a raspberry vinaigrette delicious) The ambience is very good unless they are packed then a little noisy. The wait staff is great especially Jennifer and Patty they are always looking to make your dining experience delightful. They do take out which I have never did but brought a lot of leftover home. Especially thier breakfast meals because they give you a lot. It is one of those establishments that make you feel at home when you enter. I recommend you try it at least once if you come to Stanwood

Down home good food. Patty, the morning waitperson is the perfect person to do what she does. She is the quintessential "when pigs fly" Flo from Alice. We love her.

We come here frequently for the delicious food. The soup and salads are the best. Also really appreciate the real home fries on the grill. The service is always kind and accommodating special requests!

Good and fairly priced restaurant. Pancakes are huge, large pieces of bacon and generous portions of hashbrowns. Service was fast even when it was a busy time. We'll go back when we travel to the area again.
