We had our wedding here on 8/17/14. Everything was great from beginning to end. Mary was a great rental manager, Kay was a terrific venue manager. Affordable rental costs and reasonable requirements. No catering restrictions (we used Fez on Wheels for our appetizers and dinner menu/Proletariat Wines/Machine House Brewery/Pour Girls Bar tending). And the venue is "Georgetown Eclectic" - no need to decorate other than a few items that make it unique to you. We had table linens, flowers, photo displays, and a few wedding themed banners, but other than that the Stables provides all the flair you need. We had 200 people at our event. I've heard numerous times since that people loved the venue and had a blast. We couldn't be happier!

I just had my wedding reception here on 9/7! This is such a great space! I would have given a 5 star rating but I think Mary was a little difficult to work with! She was not helpful at all when it came to where I could have my rental company drop our things off and was going to charge me $40 to come let them in (isn't that your job as a venue manager?). She wanted to charge me extra for every little thing ( so make sure you have enough time to set up and break down). That being said this place is RAD!!! You can bring your own booze (just need a banquets license which is $30) and either have it catered or you can do your own food. They have a great kitchen to work with. I also wan to say working with Emma was awesome. She really helped my parents with setting up and breaking down! Thanks Stables for a great reception

I found the Stables through a Yelp search and fell in love! We had our wedding here last weekend and everything was perfect. The venue is beautiful, funky and fun, and a perfect size for my 50 guests. I also found out at the last minute (as I cut it close with this part) they also rent tables and chairs, which saved me delivery hassles and trauma. The staff was awesome to work with and I especially loved K, who was my coordinator the night of the event. She kept checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly.I would highly recommend the Stables to anyone looking for a smaller venue with lots of character!

What a fun, interesting venue. We just attended a wedding for some dear friends and the place was perfect (with Cameron's decorations, of course!)It felt slightly crowded with chairs and tables - but I think all of the 130ish people that were there all got a decent view of the ceremony.

I went to a birthday party here. The venue seems to work quite well. The hosts had a food truck provide the meal. They just pull up to a deck area in the back and it works really well. There is an area for a DJ and that doubles as an area for a karaoke host too. A small band might fit up there. As far as i can tell you can bring in all the fine booze you want. It's off the main street, but not too hard to find. Parking is in a gravel lot. I might have to use this place some day...

This is an awesome venue for a party. It was indeed stables historically and has a rustic feel to it along with super funky fun decor. There's a rotating display of local art on the walls, lots of Americana including several jukeboxes, it's got a fully stocked kitchen and a huge outdoor area for barbequeing etc.

EXCEPTIONAL VENUE!!!!!June 2017 we had a Triple Graduation Party and a Launch Party for a New Company! I can say with certainty there really is not another venue that would have made it as memorable. The Stables is a Large(indoor/outdoor) venue with so much charm and character! The cleanliness and vintage decor at The Stables made us all feel like we were somewhere else. We were able to host 100+ guests and we felt very comfortable. We brought in 2 Large Food Trucks & 1 Dessert Cart (outside) and there was still so much room for everyone to enjoy.I want to share that the Staff and Owner take pride in their establishment! The level of professionalism and kindness made our event everything it was. Thank You Stables!Rent this venue, you will be glad you did!

We thought this would be a great venue for our small wedding/reception-august 2016. I should have listened to my gut. The first contact with Mary took days for her to get back to me-she was never quick to respond.She charges for every little thing-an extra chair, extra 15 min, etc-as well as you pay to have a OM (onsite manager) the day of the event. I paid to get in early so I would have PLENTY of time to set up and have time to chill before the wedding. She also gave me a emergency back up cell number-just in case. That didn't help.Not only did the OM not show up, but her "emergency number" didn't work as she was out of range. What good does a emergency back up number do if you are out of range!!!We finally got ahold of the person that owns the building, and in the end we only had 45 minutes to set up so this was not relaxed nor enjoyable. Very sad for a day as big as your wedding.They should have, at the very least, offered a full refund, which she did not. She refunded only partial. This needs to be run like a real business, especially when weddings are involved.The only reason this gets 2 stars, is it is a cool venue.

We had my daughter's wedding here in August, 2015 and it was so much fun! We chose our own caterer (Pyramid Catering) and they did the set up and clean up for us.The venue is amazing! It is the cutest place! So many crazy, eclectic decorations! ! The staff was very helpful. We needed a couple of tables at the last minute and they helped us out no problem. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique place to have a party or wedding!

We had our wedding at The Stables last weekend and couldn't have been happier with our choice. It's a quirky venue full of character, which made for minimal decorations and more time just enjoying the event. The outdoor patio was perfect for such a sunny day and the inside provided enough space for both dancing and socializing. Mary, Laura and Melissa were awesome to work with and made what could have been a stressful event the perfect day. I highly recommend The Stables for anyone having an event on the smaller side. You won't be disappointed!
